  1. A double steal? Haha, eat it, Jerk Sox!
  2. LaRussa "strolling" out to the mound for a pitching change like he's been hitting the division clinching champagne since early this morning.
  3. Oh, the suggested to do list extends into next season and beyond.
  4. There goes the neighborhood.
  5. Taylor is really flying under the radar in the mentions of the upcoming free agency. He has a pretty not, not great, track record. Hinch likes flexibility on his roster.
  6. Just to throw a little cold water on catching Cleveland... The Tigers need to flip this starting next season.
  7. Sleeve tats are a nice touch.
  8. Eat it, Jerk Sox.
  9. Anyone else foresee a makeup doubleheader against these asshats next Monday?
  10. Goodrum is going to be 30 next season. His versatility is nice, but it’s tough to see where he fits in as anything more than that if the Tigers do go get a SS.
  11. Pacheco looks like the 5th Beatle, early edition of course.
  12. Bite me, Puffnuts.
  13. I tuned in late. Safe to assume Candelario is fine but just getting a day off?
  14. Everyone is being so nice to one another. How long do you think the pleasantries will last?
  15. This sounds like an unpleasant burning and itchy issue in a spot where one wouldn’t want that.
  16. The all time series between Detroit & Tampa is 81-80 in favor of the Tigers. Do with that what you will.
  17. Kreidler has gone from a .658 OPS in A+ to .754 in AA to .960 in AAA. Just imagine his OPS when he can hit in the much better lighting of MLB ball yards.
  18. Crikey! (Am I doing that right?)
  19. You'll get Kathy Bates from Misery and you'll like it.
  20. I remember the White Sox and Giants rumors. And there was also the attempt at the 1993 expansion. Its kind of funny to think of the current situation in the Bay Area and how in some alternate universe the A's became the only team around after the Tampa Giants became a thing.
  21. Wasn't Tropicana developed as a multipurpose? I think one of the things that baseball fans maybe forget or don't realize is that it was opened in 1990. Camden Yards, which has become the standard for the new era of stadia, opened in 1992. Tropicana should be more comparable to Toronto's Roger's Centre (opened as SkyDome in 1989). But I think that because it didn't have a baseball tenant until 1998, it's sterile/unpleasant nature gets magnified a bit. The Rays were created in the retro park era, but started and have only played in a cookie cutter. And of course, the lack of attendance adds into the perception as well.
  22. Well there you go.
