So that chopper to Torkelson where he threw the runner out at home rather than take the out at second allowing the runner to score….. that kind of loomed large, eh?
This season is young, but he’s posting better numbers than last season. I remember he started out slow last season, really high ERA and WHIP from a couple of poor early outings. But he eventually worked those ratios down.
I thought he had decent numerals last season with the exception of the HR%. I suspect his close and late numerals weren’t so good, but that’s just a suspicion.
So now that it’s 10 games in 9 days, I would imagine he finds a start somewheres along the line. Maybe get away day game in Houston? Or perhaps that doesn’t line up well enough.
Seems a little aggressive since he didn’t eclipse 100 IP last season. But I pay to get into a ballpark rather than being paid to work in one, so what do I know? As long as they have a reasonable plan that includes some postseason work.
No, don’t care. Nobody gave the Pistons the time of day when they waxed the Lakers. We remember well the game 2 of the 2006 ALDS rainout shenanigans. I’ll take a victory over ass kissing any day.
