And? If he's breathing, he has all the same supporters. What happened with Biden has no bearing.

I gotta say, "Magaphone" is fantastic. It's inconceivable to me that there hasn't been one already, to go along with the watches, coins, and everything else that he puts out to take advantage of his sheep.

Musk's Illegal Control of the US Government

I still use Twitter, but I am also low engagement. I've never actually posted anything on it and literally have zero followers (I mean, why would anyone follow when I don't post anything...). I just use it to follow some accounts that aren't on BlueSky yet. -

Uh oh, he used the "D" word in his response in a positive way. That guy is toast. -

I literally laugh out loud every time I see one of those things on the road. The most "look at me" but useless vehicle since the Hummer. -

Rocky IV in with "Robots and AI" is funny. -
Well, I was greatly enjoying Silo on AppleTV right up until Steve Zahn showed up in season two. That guy annoys the crap out of me, which I understand is often the point of his character (as it is on Silo), but I just find him sooo grating. I can't wait for his scenes to be over. I'm now trying to get through season two even faster, in hopes that his character suffers a grizzly fate.

2024 - 2025 Detroit Tigers Offseason

This deal is absolutely perfect for the Tigers. I'm so excited to have Jack back, and on a deal that doesn't over-commit. I'd say there is still room to add a bat, whether that's Bregman or someone else impactful. -
Oh I will definitely need to add Max back for that. I love that show.

I love having ESPN+ on my Hulu Live subscription. There's a lot of out of market baseball that shows up there in the summer, and I can watch my Ohio Bobcats during basketball season. If you don't care about college basketball though, then it's usefulness definitely takes a big hit. VEEP is pretty great. I need to add Max back at some point. There's quite a few shows there that I enjoy, but for now I'm still getting caught up on ones on other services (Silo and Severance, mainly).

I realize I am biased, since I am an Ohio State fan, but I can't see where he would be better off anywhere else, in either the short term or the long term. He's with a program that features him, has ample NIL, and churns out NFL WR talent like no one else. Any NIL offer from another program would have to be 3x what OSU can provide to even consider it. I don't even think the change at QB really factors in. If there are any concerns at all with Sayin (and I don't think there really are), they would just go get another Howard.

The playoff format definitely needs a little tweaking. Even if you wanted to continue giving conference champs a bye, you could re-seed after the first round games, so you don't have a Boise or ASU as 3/4. Also, it seemed very odd to me that the teams that earned byes then missed out on having a home playoff game. Not exactly sure how you fix that part, but an oddity nonetheless. I attended the championship game with my son (who is an OSU student). The crowd, the venue, the game, it was all great. Besides being really cold (in the low 20s and windy), my only complaint is that a lot of the area bars/restaurants were closed for private events. I can't imagine how much it had to cost for places like that to close and miss out on all those customers. It made the places that were open really crowded, especially since no one was tailgating outside due to the weather. The game was so great though. We definitely got a bit nervous when it was just a one score game and it looked like we would have to punt it back to ND with ample time on the clock. Then this happens!

I am greatly enjoying Bad Monkey on AppleTV. If you don't care for Vince Vaughn though, you should skip it. It is very much a vehicle for Vince to be at maximum Vince Vaughn. Only one season right now, but it has been renewed for a second.

If you enjoy two person rock bands like I do (think White Stripes, Black Keys, Royal Blood), check out the band Roxferry.

The pet peeve thread

I think downtown Columbus (Short North) is quite nice, but I will agree that it doesn't have much "personality". It could be almost any city in any state. German Village is probably the most distinct area/neighborhood, but it's also not very big. I'm not sure how Cleveland is really any better than Columbus, but it's also been awhile since I've spent any real time in the Cleveland area. -

Bregman's OPS has been in a steady decline since 2019. He's certainly better than what we have, but I have concerns... -
I have Buckeye cable for internet (but use Hulu LiveTV for TV), but AT&T fiber just recently became available. One of the reps stopped by a few weeks ago, but I shooed him away saying that we really don't have any problems. It seems like ever since then my internet connection gets wonky when trying to watch TV. I pay over $100 a month for the cable internet, so the price would be about the same. Seems like I'm hearing that switching to fiber might be the way to go.

It doesn't even matter. At the end of the day, she lost because a large percentage of the population prefers a weak, thin-skinned, narcissist with anger issues.

Yup. Pour all our resources into finishing the wall. Put tariffs on everything.

Do it. Do it all. That's what we decided we wanted.

I happened to drive past the Lucas County early voting location at 1:00 yesterday afternoon, and the line of cars trying to turn in there was enormous.

That commercial is both hilarious and heinous.

No, he has CONCEPTS of a plan.

I live on a cul-de-sac, so we get together with the neighbors and all setup in one driveway in the front of the cul-de-sac. When the kids come up, we tell them to take one from each bowl (there's seven or eight bowls). We are all eating, drinking and talking, and so not paying much attention. It was rainy anyway, so there weren't a lot of kids. Anyway, this one kid came back to the table AT LEAST seven times. Always with the same "Trick or treat" and look on his face, like he was there for the first time. It was quite funny. He was probably nine or ten. He had (I assume) his brother with him the first few times, but by the end it was just him. I swear the last couple of times he didn't get more than a house away before he turned around and came back. 🤣

One day later than was promised, but yay! I've actually never seen it, but love I Think You Should Leave. I've watched two episodes of Detroiters already, and I can tell that it's going to work for me.
