I've decided that I am mostly fine with this. I know if I could have continued to extend my college experience, I certainly would have. Add in the fact that they are now getting paid (though these guys likely not a lot) and they aren't prospects at the next level, so I have no problem with them hanging on as long as possible. Is it a little bizarre? Of course. But there are plenty of other things wrong with college athletics that are worse than this. I say let them play as long as they want.

The best part is that they are joining the Mid American Conference because Northern Illinois is leaving for the Mountain West. 🤣

SS/3B/CF is still a problem offensively. I want to believe in Parker Meadows, but it's getting harder and harder to do so. IMO, we are relying on too many players to meet/exceed last season, when last season was already ahead of what was expected of them. This includes Javy, Zach, Jones and even Tork. I suppose it's possible to absorb regression from them, if there is improvement in the Sweeney/Vierling/Meadows/Keith group, but it's tough to count on that.

I did not have that experience at all. I was a customer for something like 20 years, mostly due to Sunday Ticket. When I cut with them last year, I found it quite easy. Strangely, I had way more trouble trying to get my parents setup with them. LOL!

I actually just set my parents up with DirecTV at the end of last season, because Buckeye cable they had been using had dropped Fanduel Detroit. I shudder at the thought of trying to move them to another service, since they are finally comfortable using it.
