  1. Playing the old I like Biden game to get rubes to vote for Trump... Vlad's slipping Driving the news: The Russian president was asked who was "better for us" between Biden and Trump during an interview broadcast Wednesday on Rossiya 1 TV. "[Biden] is a more experienced, predictable person. He is a politician of the old school," Putin said. "But we will work with any leader of the United States, who is trusted by the American people." Representatives for Biden and Trump did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.
  2. Re Steve Stone, anyone who could hang with Harry and Chip Carey along with Hawk Harrelson and Bob Ueker has to be one of a kind. Not to mention putting up with Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein in a weekly talk show. When we lived in Chicago, I enjoyed him with Harry and tolerated Chip. Occasionally I'd catch Bernstein and Boers on WSCR
  3. It's a huge jump from William and Mary and the Coastal Athletic Conference to the NFL, huge learning curve. He's had a taste, hoping for the best from him
  4. Interesting.....
  5. Probably closer to C. And maybe D...anything to get out of Reinsdorf's dysfunctional world
  6. reading the Bullwerk Morning roundup this morning with a Will Saletan essay on the Hur report. Something jumped out at me in the report that was glossed over by the media Read the second of the statement concerning Trump's handling of the documents “Unlike the evidence involving Mr. Biden, the allegations set forth in the indictment of Mr. Trump, if proven, would clearly establish not only Mr. Trump’s willfulness but also serious aggravating facts. Most notably, after being given multiple chances to return classified documents and avoid prosecution, Mr. Trump allegedly did the opposite. According to the indictment, he not only refused to return the documents for months, but he also obstructed justice by enlisting others to destroy evidence and then to lie about it.” This needs to be pushed more. TRUMP OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE....
  7. The crows around here don't even go near the bird feeders. Starlings on the other hand...
  8. There was a pretty big snow storm on Long Island and surrounding areas. That may have had an impact. I'm also seeing reports that a lot of Democrats voted early by mail, while Republicans tended to wait until Election Day to vote.
  9. But she's retiring to run for governor...
  10. I think most are choosing to retire rather than get primaried. They've surrendered. The only solution is complete annihilation of the Trump/Putin wing of the party. And that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
  11. Just change the name of the party to Trump Inc
  12. It's been 100 years since George Gershwin wrote Rhapsody in Blue. I love the funky clarinet opening. Bella Fleck's new arrangement....
  13. A column in the Bulwark today about why Republicans are so focused on Biden's age (not that he's a whole lot older than Stinky). Biden's age is the only "issue" they can campaign on Then it added this
  14. I I started watching last season's Larry David and she came on. I guess RFKJr has no objection to plastic surgery or injecting Botox
  15. That's ok I don't get Usher or Post Malone.

  17. Considering it's been 50 years since the last troops left Viet Nam.... It's been 20 years since Iraq...
  18. I keep going back to that press conference. Watch Trump's body language. That was the look of someone who was taken to the woodshed.
  19. For the youngsters...
  20. RFKJr SB ad invoking his uncle. Kid, you're no Jack Kennedy.
  21. My mother was constantly running down the list (Stu, George, Chuck) in some conversations with me. The first two were her brothers. She was maybe in her 40s. If I spent anytime visiting family, I'd end up calling my son my youngest brothers name. However that would only once in a conversation. Not numerous times in a speech.
  22. three of them are still repaying him for their appointment. At least two others are tied to other financial committments they're still paying off
