We've been using Banfield Vet service for several years now. For the most part they're sufficient. However, lately they've gotten a bit lax in their customer service. They are friendly enough and efficient, but I've gotten perturbed when our boarding/day car facility lets me know a required vaccination is just a few days away. Why didn't the vet remind me last month when I was there for another vaccine? Or why can't we coordinate with them about setting up appoints on a regular basis instead of waiting for the last minute. Especially when they tell me the vaccine expires in two days but they don't have availability for more than two weeks. Then shrug when I call them on it.

This could be the new brain trust.

The last 2 years we lived there we had an apartment in the building catty corner from Holy Name. 48th floor, lake view. The building had just opened when we moved in. It was great for the Water Show. The view probably not so great 20 years plus later because of the new construction in the area. We definitely can't afford the current rent, either.

This popped up in one of my feeds. An edited version of this song peaked in the top 25 on the charts. I think the first Huey Lewis song that didn't have staying power. The radio version was more vocal and less Getz. . The story behind it was that Stan Getz ran into HN's at a funeral and said he'd like to play on one of their records. Getz had cancer, and Huey's dad was a radiologist, he said "Stan has cancer. If you don't put him on a record, I'm never talking to you again". The only poll that matters is the 12 or so jurors in the cases where Trump is the defendant. And we have to hope that 100% of those jurors agree on a guilty verdict.
