  1. I’ve only been to LV a couple of times and usually in Spring and Fall. If Summer temps are similar to Arizona or Florida, it still could be uncomfortable in the summer. (Trust me, I know about humidity, but 100 degree days in Phoenix during Spring Training is still very uncomfortable)
  2. I think usually when an actor is given a producer title on a project it’s a way of padding the contract. Sort of like giving a long time loyal employee a title without giving them additional responsibilities
  3. I think the biggest complaint, at least early in the game, the turf was slick. Since the Lions were not the home team I wonder if they did not pack their ice shoes
  4. Tourist fans really worked out for Tampa and Miami didn’t it?
  5. If Trumpublicans were series they’d ban Viagra as well.
  6. If and when the A's move to Las Vegas how do they divvy up the broadcast rights. Does Las Vegas get the entire state of Nevada? Currently the A's, Giants, Padres, Angels and Dodgers are consider LV their broadcast territory.
  7. Seeing highlights from the Brad Holmes presser today where he said the Lions would be adding a third QB. I'm still expecting a developmental guy to be drafted late. Glancing at profiles I might be willing to wager on someone like Clayton Tune. I've seen comps comparing him to Brock Purdy.
  8. Jr would claim that he is the legitimate successor to his father...
  9. The guy who called him out was a Trump voter BTW...
  10. About that game in Charlotte....
  11. A bit like Musk's Twitter setup...
  12. We used to have one of those. Our backyard was shared by two houses. The combined yards made for a great football field or a area to hit fungos. The one neighbor had a garden along the property line and he’d confiscate balls that went into his butter bean patch. I think he may also have been the one who called the cops on my parents for a barking dog in the backyard
  13. Somewhat related I stumbled upon an early Humphrey Bogart movie last night. One of his first evidently from the ‘30s. Black Legion, based on happenings in Michigan a few years earlier. The more things change….
  14. Wasn’t that the same debate that Rubio got “Christied” ? For that campaign CC was Trump’s bulldog. I’d love to see him in the race if he was actually able to do that to both Trump and DeSantis. But we know in reality that CC is all hat and no action
  15. His grandfather would fit in nicely in MAGA world.
  16. Zach of all trades, Master of none
  17. Will be interesting to see how deep MAGA Talk TV will dig this time around..
  18. Sorry, hope it isn't too bad. Between COVID the first of the month and my five year colon check Monday it's been an interesting month so far.
  19. RFK Jr doing a lot of family name dropping in his speech. I was 16 when Bobby Sr ran. This kid is no RFK Sr.
  20. So what's wrong with drafting Stroud if you feel he's the best on the board at the time. Develop him and use him as insurance against an injury by Goff. When time comes for Goff extension you will still have the opportunity to trade one or the other QBs down the line.
  21. The minister came close to refusing to perform the ceremony for us (1978). I had moved to the city she was working 2 months prior to the wedding date and saw no point of trying to find an apartment. I think his biggest issue was we didn't tell her parents (Long story and family history). We also "failed" the stupid compatibility test.
  22. Show off hands. How many of us would have served time if this law was being enforced. it seems that at least 7 Michigan Senators are still living in 1968
  23. Does this mean I can shoot the next guy who comes to my door trying to sell Solar Panels. Especially when there is a No Soliciting sign at the entrances of the subdivision?
  24. My latest Lion mock... 6) Witherspoon CB 18) Darnell Wright OT 50) Darnell Washington (Trade with Tampa) 48, 159 for 50 and Tampa's 2024 third round 55) Jack Campbell LB 81) Trey Palmer WR 152 Jarrett Patterson OC 183) Tommy DeVito QB. (Best of a suspect lot, he'll end up on the practice squad. I see it as a safe insurance pick) 194) Nick Broeker OG
  25. Dan and Jim were talking about the Tiger's catchers set ups during yesterday's broadcast. They said after the Toronto (?) series the catchers were now targeting the middle of the plate for the pitchers. The thought was setting up on the corners was causing a lot of pitches to miss the zone, causing a lot of walks.
