The gentleman who owns the local winery, Patrick Duffler, was instrumental in the Marlboro F1 racing team that won championships in 1974 and 1976. !974 with Fittipaldi. Nice guy, about 80 now. Bought the land in 1983 when his then wife asked him what he wanted to do important with the rest of his life. So they bought a farm. Planted their first grapes in 1985. Their current operation consists of 300 acres, more than 40 in vines. Small speciality hotel, restaurant, wedding and event venue and tasting room. He's planted most of his property with trees, and has added walking trails this year.As well as some of the best wine I've tasted. You usually see him on the grounds in fatigues, His favorite saying is that any man who looks into the mirror and thinks he's important is an asshole.

I agree about live theatre. I'm also one of those folks who saw Hamilton three times (twice in Chicago and once in Detroit) and enjoyed each performance. Each time I took away something different. BTW if you ever get a chance to see To Kill a Mocking Bird with the touring company, do so. We saw it last Summer in DC. Richard Thomas had the Atticus Finch Finch roll. The remade Broadway play featured Jeff Daniels. The play was written by Aaron Sorkin. Much better than the 50 year old movie

I learned my lesson a long long time ago. New kid in school from a northern state, the only "Yankee" in the class in 1964. Bet "new" friends about $12 total that the Yankees would beat the Cardinals in the World Series. Then there was the time I bet a buddy $50 based on an old Fritos commercial. "Bet you can't eat just one" for a year (I was 13). My parents found out about 6 months into the bet. Tried to sabotage me during a Scout camp week and filled by footlocker with"treats". We called off the bet. I also have the knack of picking horses that run extremely well until they hit the home stretch.

I'm not sure of the current situation but in 2020 Walled Lake seemed to be the pot capitol of SE Michigan. it's almost as if they've gone post prohibition. I'm in favor of legalization, the retail side seem to have gone the vape shop route where there is a store on every street corner. I almost hope VA goes the ABC type route. (They won't and the village I live near will consist of gun shops and pot stores)

Seeing where Tesla has begun cutting prices. It seems partly because they can't compete on the lower end models and partly because to tax breaks for customers who buy EV's under $55,000. We've been seeing more Teslas in this area of the country.
