  1. Only the best and the brightest...
  2. Oz probably thinks Rolling Rock is still a local brand
  3. I blame Oprah, for both Oz and Dr Phil.
  4. Let me get this straight. Biden is in cahoots with farmers, truck drivers and food manufacturers as well as grocery stores, who only see a small profit in vegetables. If Oz was a true Pennsylvanian, he'd grow his own stuff instead of galavanting across the countryside.
  5. Could you guys do us a favor and keep him occupied for a few years (not that the Lt Gov and AG are improvements). Maybe show him where he can get some great deals on fleece vests, possibly interest him in a partnership with the Pistons...Get him drunk on Ice Wine... https://wjla.com/news/local/virginia-governor-glenn-youngkin-headed-michigan-campaign-republican-gubernatorial-candidate-tudor-dixon-gretchen-whitmer-november-election-support-state-convention-lansing-august-27-presidential-candidate He seems to be on the road a lot lately...
  6. Not quite Nixonian numbers, yet... For those keeping track at home..
  7. Amazing story...
  8. I have a passport and a passport card. By “Official” I assume it’s related to your government job. If you are no longer employed you would lose it, right? TSA wouldn’t let me keep my airport badge once I stopped working (volunteering) at DTW. Do former Presidents get to keep their government passport once they become private citizens again?
  9. Does Theodore have one. With Trump in charge of the party, one can't be certain.
  10. Why would someone have two current passports? Unless one is under an assumed name, which is considered illegal. Is John Barron currently a CIA operative?
  11. And the beat goes on…
  12. As usual Republicans project onto Democrats what they are already doing
  13. Next thing you know the Trumpublicans will be resurrecting Tommy Flanagan as their spokesperson
  14. If true, this could be the major thing. We taxpayers paid for a SCIF to keep the documents secure. The genuses in FLA decided to keep them in a storage room instead. Major negligence
  15. It was a word of the day promotion by the flagship station. It was supposed to drive listenership to other day parts. A bunch of members used the forums in an attempt to circumvent the rules, so to speak. It basically go out of hand thanks to ever present prize pigs.
  16. I came to the old board during the WXYT "word of the day" or whatever it was 20 plus years ago. Part of my wife's job at the time was the supervision of the radio broadcast and the network. She's also supervised the Wings and Pistons as well as U of M. Previously she had the Bears and BlackHawks games. She doesn't like sports. That part of her career ended around 2005. I grew up a Pirate fan, was 8 when Mazoroski hit the home run. My wife once embarrassed Phil Gardner by telling him that our son was born 9 months after the 1979 championship. He's on only child. I'm primarily a baseball fan and would follow the home team of parent club where we've lived. Detroit was home for about 20 years. I watched the bad in the early 2000's, cheered Maglio's home run in 2006 and felt the pain of losing 2 World Series. I still follow from a distance. Tigers much more than the Pirates. I know very little about the 2 minor league teams within driving distance. Like Bert at 70 I have no idea what the next several months or years bring.
  17. "Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you"
  18. Stafford was looking at his 4th head coach and fifth (?) coordinator. You get to a point where you say really don't want to go through a possible rebuild again. I think family was involved as well, his wife had worn out her welcome with Lion fans. That said, I think Williams' did right by paying respect to a former jersey wearer.
  19. I do find it somewhat interesting that Coobaugh only stays with organizations for only a year or two...
