  1. Maybe the others were just playing possum...
  2. It's two lanes thru here now, with talk about widening it in the not too distant future. The biggest problem, I think, is the combination of truck traffic, regular commuters, and throw in tourists. So you've got a lot of folks really not familiar with the area trying to figure out where to go combined with long haul regulars, military, and the regular retirees who live here.
  3. You've flown thru Dallas too? Or if you're at DTW you land at A72 and your connecting gate is C1
  4. There is a minimum/medium security prison in Miami that hosted Manuel Noriega for a while. In reality he's never going to go and the best we might hope for is something similar to house arrest. Even if he is tried and convicted the appeals process would take years. Is there a secluded place on Mar-A-Lago where then can convert a storage shed or something. And ban him from the main building and golf course?
  5. I get all that. My biggest complaint is when there is no congestion, and the folks coming on to the expressway insist on doing 45 until the merge lane ends. They have enough time to enter the highway if they would just accelerate to the proper speed. Otherwise the car in the right lane is usually forced to slow to let them in at the end of the lane. Especially when the left lane is occupied. Hopefully that makes sense
  6. Brandon is having a good run
  7. I've never seen so many happy people at a cemetery
  8. So the "Christian" ownership is suing it's insurance company because of an act of God..... You can't make this stuff up.....
  9. quick google search https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/pubs/sales/anj22.pdf I guess technically you can declare the golf course cemetery property. Not sure if it would stand up in court. if one was litigious enough, you could keep it tied up for several years....
  10. Who buries X wife #1 on a golf course she hated....
  11. Rebound of positive but no symptoms...
  12. Saving innocent school kids from drag queens....
  13. Both sides of his mouth (possibly this belongs in the midterm thread). Lee is one of the leading despicable Qpublicans ...
  14. Just hoping you stay safe and dry as storms move thru...
  15. Keep in mind "New" Comiskey is a bandbox compared to Comerica.
  16. "Thank you for your service, no GFU" Signen Ted Cruz
  17. I think we have fewer self entitled folks living here than in Michigan😁 Now if they just learned how to merge into traffic....
  18. Chic. fil a here has drive thru management down to a science. Two lanes with order takers before you hit the speaker most of the time. There have also been times when your order is delivered to you before you hit the window. There is even an older gentleman out directing drive thru traffic during peak hours. One of the busier ones just tore down their old store, bought the Burger King next door and is completing a restaurant with a kitchen dedicated to the drive thru line.
  19. Just looking at Baseball Reference, it wasn't until he was traded to the White Sox that Konerko started to bloom so to speak. His AAA numbers at Indianapolis and Albuquerque were good but both the Dodgers and Reds gave up on him. The Sox got him for Mike Cameron. Quick aside I lived in the same apt building as Konerko in 1999 (across from Holy Nome Catherdal). I didn't know it until the season was over. I needed something from the mail room and saw a piece of mail on the table by the counter addressed to him from the Players Union.
  20. How much of a kickback does he get from the tournament and the pro-am? How much did Jared make in Saudi bribes? People are saying....
  21. Another verse, same as the first That's been his M-O for decades.... One hit wonder.
  22. At least you dinged up your own vehicle. My one and only experience was a few years ago when we rented a 26 foot Class C from a local dealer. Got a bit close to a pump in Escanaba. Not only did I scrape the side I took the water spigot with it. Fortunately there was a repair place nearby. Basically I lost the cost of the initial repair plus the scrape covered the deposit cost. We've discussed getting an RV off and on for several years. After looking into cost, storage and upkeep. Not to mention a vehicle big enough to tow the darn thing I figured we'd be better off staying in hotel rooms. Our tent camping experiences on trips usually found at least three lost days due to weather. Good luck with your setup. .
