News Nation is what used to be the cable version of the old WGN Superstation. It's currently owned by Nextar. If I recall when they launched I few years ago they got off to a shaky start. I've passed by while scrolling on YouTube TV but haven't watched.

After watching this franchise for over 30 years, in many ways the Halas family is just about as inept as the Ford's. Sure they've won a couple of championships....but....

We picked up one of the Pizza Hut pizzas a while back, not bad in a pinch. Especially in an area where the best pizza is the $5 Harris Teeter take and bake. For not much more they'll customize the toppings. My wife did find a recipe fairly similar to Buddies, I'm not sure where. It's hard to replicate their baking pans which at one time were said to hold bearings for Ford vehicles. edt Now if I could just find a decent Coney Dog

I like our RAV 4 Hybrid, much better mileage than our Highlander, I think she gets about 38 MPG. It's also comfortable enough for the two day drive to Detroit. (It's 11 hours, but we don't push it anymore). I'm not sure what direction we'll go in a couple of years when the lease is up, probably hold on to this one. It also takes away moving on the reoccurring RV lust since there is absolutely no towing capacity in the hybrid.

Once upon a time there was a parody Youtube site called RedState Update. I'm not sure if it's still around. The stuffed they produced was much better than just plain Redstate...

I have no objection to someone putting down a couple of dollars on a bet or lottery ticket. Or to someone buying beer or even attending a wine tasting. Once again my issue is with the over proliferation of ads. Especially ones with a "Dumb Blond" and a couple of Fat Guys screaming at me every single commercial break. Since most of the time whatever sporting events I watch is usually background noise the same commercial over and over, sometimes multiple times in a break makes me decide to turn off the set and follow on game cast or whatever. I stopped listening to sports radio ages ago so I can't comment on shows that constantly talk betting line or strategies. All I want from Draft Kings or whoever is that put a bit more profit into creativity.

I'd even set it up to only have ammunition available at a state run establishment like Virginia's ABC stores.

My dumb idea of the day is to impose a tax on ammunition sales. Make it something like 20% of a cost per round. Also allow it like Michigan's bottle tax...a portion can be refundable when you return the spent casings.
