The other aspect that enters the conversation is that Trump and his “advisers” have put a bad connotation on the word. Illegal’s have become code for nonwhite’s seeking to enter the country. Especially among the White Christian Nationalists crowd. Before that many of the same folks brought the connotation on Arabs and Muslims during the Middle East wars. Nobody talks about white Europeans that may enter illegally. Or even folks from say China who paid Trump big bucks to come and produce anchor babies

I read most of the report. There is a major divide between those that want just straight play by play and those who can’t stand some of personality. Not being a Detroit native, my initial baseball listening was to Bob Prince. Somewhere between the jabber there was a ballgame. I loved it. TV was relegated to the Game of the Week which was great to nap to when I got older. Guys like Prince, Ralph Kiner, Harry Carey and the like were always a bit controversial to some fans. So you're in favor of arresting and beginning deportation proceedings against Musk since technically he lied when entering the country on a student visa. How about Trump, his grandfather re-entered the country illegally from Germany to avoid the draft. Trump's wife could be considered to have entered the country under false pretenses. (She became legal after marriage). Where do you draw the line...

Once again to paraphrase GW Bush. Most of these people are doing jobs Americans don't want. If they have no record, are productive and otherwise good citizens what's wrong. Restaurants are begging for workers. Farmers in the Midwest are begging Trump to relax deportation of farm workers. The hostility industry is also hurting. Maybe we should go after the industries that hire and import "illegals" first.

I'm not even sure these "Lawful enforcement officers" are even legit. For all the actions I've seen they are akin to the trespassers back in 2021. Have they actually received training or are they just randomly picked because they are a friend of a friend who made large donations to MAGA Man I know a few police officers. They are all aghast by their actions. Giving bad name to legitimate authorities. Im going back to my bad 1970s thinking and calling them PIGS.

Much rather that than a bunch of Michigan Militia (not really an official militia) guys running around pretending to be cops. What if a group like these guys decide they're going to enforce speeding laws and pulls you over on I-75 for speeding, No uniform, possibly fake badge, wearing a mask? I'm more concerned about these asshole's thug tactics.
