Once again your propaganda is misleading. The 13.8% Repugakins are pushing combines two separate, proposed taxes that would apply to certain high income and investment income, not to everyone's wages. Only very high earners, basically those with incomes over $1 million would face the 10% top marginal rate and only those same high income households and significant investment income would pay the additional 3.8%. Most Virginians will probably see no change at all.

Somewhere in the mid to late '60s early '70s the parties did a major beliefs switch. It was part of Nixon's "Southern Strategy" combined with backlash over Viet Nam. Johnson's Great Society and the Civil Rights Act turned Conservative Southern States against the Democratic Party. Nixon sealed the deal. When the walls came down with the Fairness Act, all hell broke loose. IMO

Let me get this straight. Trump says he has a "framework of a future deal" with NATO over Greenland. Is that like the "concept of a plan" for healthcare. Everything he does is halfassed. I expect if he leaves office in 2029 the Grand Ballroom will not yet br completed. Leaving American citizens with another boatload of debt and a big hole in the ground.

Our biggest question mark is whether we are getting ice or snow. As of yesterday the various models are still all over the place. I would prefer snow. Either way I don't think I'm going anywhere this weekend.
