  2. Meanwhile in Canada... https://bsky.app/profile/washingtonpost.com/post/3ldgwcklgrc2g
  3. I just wish he'd dial it down from 11 to about an 8. It's a game, not life and death. But then the last time I got too emotionally involved with a team was the 1992 Pirates. I still hate Sid Bream, but Barry Bonds also deserves some of my ire.
  4. Getting the popcorn ready for this inter party battle https://www.axios.com/2024/12/17/josh-hawley-child-tax-credit-trump?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiossneakpeek&stream=top
  5. A sample of some of this year's wreaths on Duke of Gloucester (DOG) St.
  6. Was out walking around Colonial Williamsburg this weekend. I got this shot standing near the First Black Baptist Church site. The oldest African American Church in America. The shot is the steeple of Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg.
  7. Or do we get a Trump version of Ford's WIN (Whip Inflation Now!) buttons and he declares victory. There will be dancing in the streets!
  8. I have yet to figure out reasoning or why with prescription prices. For the past 3 years or so I've been taking OFEV (nintedanib) for my lungs (ILD). The over the counter price I've seen is around $12000 a month (60 tablets). Up until this year, once I met the $2,000 deductible it was costing about $680 out of pocket. This year there was no charge once my deductible was reached. Not complaining, just a bit concerned about what the new administration, drug czar and Congress is going to hit me with.
  9. If FB and NextDoor comments are any indication of business acumen then private companies like UPS and FedEx are doing ****ty jobs at delivering packages, let alone allowing them to deliver mail. Personally I think the PO should triple the junk mail rate. The current Trump guy running the PO has been a disaster. If you do a bit of research and look up the Richmond, Va distribution center fiascos, you'll get a good look at the future under King Donald, the First of His Name.
  10. Even without tariffs on things like bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, pinaples...
  11. Like everything else, he has a thought about a concept of a plan.
  12. The interesting part. ABC will pay the $15 mil to a Trump Presidential foundation or museum. It you believe that Trump will actually open such a thing, I have a wall in Mexico I'll sell you. ABC shall cause a transfer in the amount of fifteen million U.S. dollars (USD $ 15,000,000) (the "Charitable Contribution") to be made to a Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for Plaintiff, as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past, in full settlement and satisfaction of Plaintiff's Released Claims as defined in paragraph 5(A) of this Agreement. The Charitable Contribution shall be made by Defendants within 10 calendar days of the Effective Date of this Agreement to an escrow account to be established by Plaintiff's counsel, who will serve as the escrow agent (the "Escrow Agent") for this specific Charitable Contribution. Within 10 calendar days after Plaintiff or his counsel present written confirmation that the appropriate entity has been established by the Plaintiff, and its 501 (c)(3) status has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service, Defendants shall authorize the Escrow Agent in writing to release the Charitable Contribution to the subject entity.

  14. Another step closer to the brink. ABC bends the knee https://bsky.app/profile/kyledcheney.bsky.social/post/3ldc6eatsic2m It's actually an on air apology. But still ABC caved to King Donald I
  15. We moved a bit. From fairly suburban Western Pennsylvania to rural Southwest Virginia. Then to a city school. Throw in the beginning of desegregation in my eighth grade year (first year of high school). The mid to late 60s were definitely an experience that shaped my outlook on things.
  16. Yea, I guess I learned a lot about cliques
  17. But maybe you were exposed to different lifestyles and social status. Hopefully you were taught critical thinking (which doesn't seem to be taught any more). I'm not completely anti home school, but I do shake my head at some parents, or even students that refuse to even consider another opinion.
  18. Trump's Prime Minister (who paid him $250 Million) wants to kill you. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/trump-transition-recommends-scrapping-car-crash-reporting-requirement-opposed-by-2024-12-13/
  19. Yankee fans in TN, NC and SC are called "Half Backs". folks that move from NY to Fla, then moved halfway back.
  20. A little something to get you all into the holiday spirit
  21. Spouse and I was just discussing that. I can probably get most of what we use it for from Cox. Maybe after the NFL season.
  22. Another campaign promise before he's even sworn in. Just like promising that Mexico will pay for the wall Obama built. BTW who talked Canada into paying for the Gordie Howe Bridge. (Hint, Not Rump)
  23. But "tools" can be disposable, you get rid of them once they are of no further use.
  24. Does Tom Brady have any eligibility left?
  25. He hasn't been approved yet. Besides your orange crush will fire him within two years, if not sooner. Admit it, you never watched his gameshow
