  1. They are the ones rooting for more ICE destruction and deportations. Plus around here they are the one moaning about planned construction of local government buildings that will replace ones that have outlived their usefulness and are no longer cost effective.
  2. This is a very minor thing but why the hell do we have to have the current resident of the White House's picture on the National Park service pass? I mean it's never happened since the service was established. Why start now. Is the fact that he has a mushroom between his legs that disconcerting to the First Rapist? This makes me want to boycott all National Parks for the next 4 years...(I have a senior pass I bought when they like $10)
  3. Reading is not Trollaholic's strongest attribute
  4. She leaves behind a four year old child. The child's father died a few years ago.
  5. When we lived there in the '90s I thought the Arlington Racetrack would be the perfect venue for something like a football stadium. Close to Metra, now far from restaurants, etc. Driving to a Bears game from the suburbs was a PIA. METRA's Sunday schedule was not friendly and a hike from both train stations. The last couple years we lived there we moved downtown (State and Superior). My wife oversaw the broadcast (when it moved to WBBM). It was an easy bike ride, but that was it
  6. Show me where i n the DNC Rules or the RNC rules for that matter that there needs to be a nominating convention
  7. Gotta give credit to this gentleman. Soprano sax is not easy to play especially if you're 104
  8. You seem to be the champ in point fingers when R-Grifters are caught. if i remember correctly you turned heel when a black woman was nominated for president..

  12. Worth the time to read, I'll quote some key parts, there is enough blame to spread around https://www.thebulwark.com/p/the-real-story-behind-the-minnesota-welfare-fraud-scandal?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=87281&post_id=183739297&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=false&r=45wcm&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email Last I checked Trump worked for the government, or is supposed to when not eating his Mac Cheesburger,Fish sandwich, double fry combo and overdosing on aspirin
  13. I find it interesting that my CongressCritter (bought and paid for by Newport News Shipbuilding) has been sending out a lot of emails about how he cares for families but still votes in lockstep with his fellow Trumpers on the issues. He also never sniffs this neck of the woods. In the 5 1/2 years I've lived in his I've only seen him (by happenstance) in a small town parade within a few miles of his house.
  14. Not the Supreme Court, but its sure to end up there
  15. January 6 is a wedding anniversary for two presidents: George Washington and George H.W. Bush. In 1759, a 26-year-old George Washington married Martha Dandridge Custis. The recently widowed, Virginia-born Martha was an educated mother of two. George Washington–then a rising young officer in the colonial British army–moved his new bride and family to his estate at Mount Vernon. Washington soon adopted Martha’s two young children, Jack and Patsy. The couple was married until his death in 1799, a 40-year union. https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/january-6/two-future-presidents-marry-respective-sweethearts

  17. and just a few verses later 18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
  18. If I can trust ChatGPT, Hendrix had done shorter versions of SSB before but not with all the effects. He claimed it was spontaneous. He was performing late Sunday night, early Monday morning after many of the concert goers had made their way out. He was also not performing with his regular band at the time, but with a transitional group he had put together. SSB was also at the end of improvisation after Voodoo Child, and he said it wasn't planned, just came in the moment
