The internet is telling me that the walls at Tiger Stadium were moved back in 1955, taking out the flagpole and the hill. If I remember correctly when they built the current park in Houston there was a hill in centerfield (not sure about the flagpole) Comerica had the flagpole in play when it was first constructed. I think it was during the 2001 season I saw Sammy Sosa hit a bomb in that direction, he did the patented home run hop then watch the ball fall harmlessly into the CF's glove ( I can't remember who) One of my favorite early Comerica moments

My son spent about a year overseeing the cleanup of the Delray neighborhood in preparation for the bridge and customs building. It was a mess. He said that when homes were torn down they just bulldozed them over, often you'd dig down and come up with a load of "mattress" and such.

If you actually look at the numbers both Obama and Biden deported a larger number of people than the current administration and Trump 1.0. They also went thru proper channels. The perception with Trump and the current ICE raids are they seem to be picking people up randomly and even with planned raids are shipping people out without such hearings. The administration isn't even attempting to argue that claim. Nobody is objecting to convicted criminals being deported, but arresting dissident foreign students and the perception of kidnapping suspected "criminals" without proper paperwork and trials seems to be the issue here. As usual every Trump does is half assed.
