  1. I bet most Trumpers call in at least once a week with indigestion
  2. Let me get this straight, Trumpers are afraid of fictitious cat eating Haitians, but they think Hannibal Lecter is a great man. According to that logic they must think that babies taste like veal
  3. I had a puggle (pug/beagle) like that. No real desire to chase the ball. We ended up as the only ones at the local dog park. I threw the ball once, she brought it back. Threw it again and she chased it. On the third throw she looked at me with that 13 year old TTF look.. It's pretty much the same with the current pup (she's almost 9). No desire to chase balls. Cheez-Its however....
  4. Try to convince me it's cinnamon candy From Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/sethcotlar.bsky.social/post/3l3qgja734k24 At a David Sacks fundraiser yesterday featuring JD Vance and RFK, Jr that raised $3.5 million for the Trump campaign, the party favors were little bottles of red pills. Pretty weird.
  5. Way to go Orlando
  6. The Commanders are right down there as well. They looked horrible against the Bucs. I doubt they would even be able to hang with Michigan
  7. Because they don't teach civics anymore. It's considered woke
  8. I love how these idiots are justifying the allegations by saying "they were targets of a fraud" Hey, someone is giving you millions of $$ which you gladly take, no questions asked, and now YOU'RE being scammed? Come on guys, try harder.
  9. WBZ...Jerry Williams followed by Larry Glick. Didn't Johnny Most (or something like that) do the Bruins play by play
  10. I tend to use "Enjoy your day" enjoy your visit after a good conversation with guests at the CW info center
  11. Not surprising. They're all thugs The two staffers, according to a source with knowledge of the incident, are deputy campaign manager Justin Caporale and Michel Picard, a member of Trump’s advance team.
  12. The "boss" thing became a peeve for me several years ago. Especially young guys working the counter at gas station/convenience stores and places like that. I haven't frequented those type of places since I gave up the M&M habit. I tend to use the term sir and mam a bit when I hang out at the information desks. Maybe these dudes use boss in the same way. I doubt it though.
  13. And how many parents would trust random no accredited “teachers” to watch their kids. They talk about “indoctrinating” their kids now. We won’t even get into insurance issues I guess when you can sweet talk a couple of billionaires to bankroll you you don’t have those issues
  14. As a grandparent, we don't mind helping out once in a while. But when it starts to feel like free labor.... I've been lobbying the past couple of years to let the grandson come visit for a week or so in the summer. It's about an hour direct flight from DTW to Richmond. The airlines still do a decent job with unaccompanied minors . There is more than enough to keep him occupied in CW, Jamestown, Yorktown, not to mention places like NAASA in Hampton. It's also a chance for him to get to know cousins who live fairly close by. He's 12 so the time is growing short.
  15. There is so much wrong with this answer. Most likely Grandma and Grandpa are still working. And if they're not they're still active enough to have lives of their own. Also sharing duties (if possible) leads to more problems than they solve, since one or both sides of the extended family will eventually feel like they got the short end of the deal. In the end both the child, parents and grand parents may find themselves in a family rift.
  16. And now....the rest of the story I think his actions were still wrong. I support the protest, just the way he tried to execute it considering recent circumstances.
  17. Was just reminded what the “truck” actually reminds me of
  18. But we know in reality every litter has its runt
  19. I don’t get this at all. It makes no sense. I have an uncle who was a plumber. That doesn’t mean I’m great at unstopping toilets My dad was a landscaper, I’m great at killing plants
  20. I went to a game there about 10 years ago. It is a nice ballpark, I had good views from left/center field, upper deck. Not a large crowd for a weeknight game against the Brewers. This was my view, my wife was at an event in the in the building behind the billboards. We signaled each other with our phones.
  21. Borrowing a bit from JVL. If we believe the Party of DJT we are living in a hellhole. Yet... https://substack.com/redirect/891faeb7-8f2e-4a7d-9c7a-100b510706d0?j=eyJ1IjoiNDV3Y20ifQ.CggfOU-yqNt6DYIiDeKPBwq9veGlU84UfbYj1_sPDzA
