There is "shrinking" government then there's willy nilly cutting things you don't like. The decisions should not be done by one person, who has not been vetted and does not answer to the branch that actually controls the purse strings. Governments are not intended to run like businesses. Governments exist to provide services that are essential but not profitable. Governments are also responsible for the social welfare of its residents. Democratic governments do not exist to enrich billionaires. Having two really ****ty business people, both of whom having inherited their money from their fathers, or stolen from their partners, is a horrible way to run a government
