It's not the far-left, it's the Muslim contingent. I have absolutely NOTHING against the American Muslim population (VERY large in New Jersey), this is America after all. Where one can practice ANY religion, FREE of persecution. My best buddy at work is Muslim, from Pakistan. This post is not against them at all, just a simple statement of fact: They are posting or reposting based on tribalism and disregarding actual facts. That's a semantic difference from the "far left spreading...". But my semantics are correct. This is simple tribalism hiding from facts... It doesn't even have anything to do with left versus right...

It's a done deal at this point. Hamas did it. They bombed their own hospital (accidentally, through a missile failure).

This is why I still believe he has upside, and can reach it... by gaining some consistency. But also to G2's earlier point: He's not relying on a wipeout slider. But instead: change of speeds with his changeup and curve. The key is for Fetter to unlock some high-end consistency out of Manning. If he does that, he's not a back-end innings eater but a mid-rotation guy.

Sounds workable. Get 30+ Republicans to agree to that route and Dem backing... And shut out the Fascist Caucus of the Republican House Representatives. It works for me.

Not surprised at all. I'm no scout at all so what do I know? Except that all the descriptions I've seen and stuff/reports, etc... screamed out reliever. I've been calling out Flores as a reliever all year long and I think last year too (zero memory left so don't hold me to that...). I think he's perfect to push into the BP. Short stints at max effort. Couple innings at a time. I'm good with that. I'd rather look to Mize/ Manning/ Skubal/ Olson/ Madden/ Jobe to fill out a rotation. Amateur 2 cents.

The only reason the hospital was hit, by Hamas or Israel - I'm just guessing here - is that Hamas was using it for military purposes. If it blew up from a Hamas bomb then they had that internally and it blew it up in their faces, tragically. If it was Israel then they at least believed they were hitting the Hamas military; one they will have to live with confirmation or negative confirmation... if they hit Hamas bombs in the hospital with their Israeli missile(s) then it's a combination... But in either case... it'll be near-impossible to confirm one way or the other...

Just a WAG but... I think Matt Manning will take a strong step forward in 2024. I don't know why I think this... but he's had some flashes of ability... How do the Tigers' coaches get some stability/ sustainability out of him? I think they all figure it out in 2024. Again, I'm just taking a guess here...

You can hide problems like that in the BP though... Shorter stints let less keying in on a pitchers' faults, as long as there are enough other positive aspects. I don't know how problematic the tunneling is; it may allow an easier read on his different pitches. But the other thing in the BP is he can let it rip more than trying to pace as a starter. An extra couple MPH may offset the easier reads on tunneling. The BP also usually limits repertoire to a reliever's two best pitches rather than a "use all 4 or 5 pitches mentality" as a starter. I think this could all be shortened to: I think he'll be fine as a 2-3 inning reliever; better than he would be as a starter.
