It's why I would prefer Chiarot as the 6th or 7th defender. Walman-Gostisbehere-Maatta on the Left side. Seider-Petry-Holl on the Right side. Chiarot only as occasionally needed; even if that means throwing him on the Right side in place of Holl. But limit his minutes. Maybe put him on the ice if the opposition is playing Bully-Lines... If there's an injury, Edvinsson is coming up and starting on the 2nd line (1st if it's Walman injured). The rest of the guys outside of Walman, Seider and maybe Petry can be juggled accordingly.

OK... My position is: Can we get Kevin McCarthy back as Speaker please...? No... I'm not going insane. My thinking is: There are 8 FU Republicans dead-set against him. Time to cut a deal with the Dems. Better representation on committees, etc., etc., etc., etc... I'll leave that up to McCarthy, Pubs and Dems to hammer out the details. Maybe that also means first two items on legislation list are Israel, and a combined Ukraine/ southern border bill. But looking at the wreckage... and I STILL would not trust McCarthy... this seems like the clearest and easiest way out. But the Republicans gotta "deal" with the Dems, regardless if it's McCarthy or anyone else. IMO.

Edvinsson can play 20+ minutes in GR and special teams. Read: more development of skills and more development TOI. Not guaranteed to get the same in Detroit.

Because of Russia and now Hamas (with Hezbollah and Iran also involved here...); I believe this country is going to be put back into a war-footing shortly. I also think Jim Jordan just lost some votes to be Speaker based on his isolationism.

Jordan might be worse. But I don't see how it can GET any worse than what the Dems have faced the past 15 years whenever Republicans hold the House. Their mission, since the Tea Party's in 2010, is a complete and total F.U., to Obama, to the Dems, and to America. They have no interest in working for the good of the country. Only complete partisan FU's to anyone with different ideas than theirs. How is it, that Jordan can be worse than that?
