You VOTED for a PEDO. All your fine talk about "Morals" is what would be called HYPOCRISY. You are the very definition of a hypocrite. In case you didn't know that.
-
I hope Harris shoots for higher. Less expensive shots at potential depth are fine... but at least 1 or 2 or 3 higher end adds... Please.
-
With no draft pick attached... it's why I would be very interested in Murakami (3B) and Imai (SP).
-
Whatever. I'm certain everyone is going to maintain their position, whatever it is, no matter the dialogue here. I'm maintaining mine.

FTFY. And I think that is all that needs to be said. IMO.
-
Yeah I don't understand this either...

And all I'm saying is that I think the proof will be in the pudding. That the future is not yet determined. That I will wait and see exactly what Grayson is, or is not, capable of producing (meaning he has to be healthy to produce anything) in 2026 and/or beyond. Maybe I have a belief in him when he says the elbow surgery, removing bone spurs, removed pain that he's had for the past 3/4 years, and that favoring his elbow somewhat was the cause of all his lat-strains. That now everything is hunky-dory. Maybe he's full of it and I'm being Too-Sunny-Optimist, again. But we'll see. I am hell-bent however, on adding one more #2/3 level starter. If it's not Grayson (obviously not since we didn't trade for him), then I am back on the Tatsuya Imai bandwagon. I still believe, however, that Grayson is going to have a great 2026. But that's just me.

Proof is in the pudding. I don't care about the Orioles concerns. What are you telling me, that it is IMPOSSIBLE for the Orioles to make a mistake?
-
Well... We'll see about that. If he has a healthy 2026... I think it ends up being a great trade for the Angels.
-
I think Carp is replaceable... so yes. Taking a risk with Grayson but I think the risk is worth it. PS: He just had surgery to remove bone spurs from his elbow that he said bothered him the past 4 years... So... Now he's even better? 100% yes. And... replace Carp by... Signing Kyle Tucker!!!

If Skubal/Boras will do this... Yes, I hope Harris can get that done. 8 years is less crazy than 10, and first choice is to keep Skubal in Detroit.

And a pet peeve question: WTF are we even doing with Hamonic? He's worse than Holl. He's older than Holl. Worse defensively. I mean... WTF? Jettison him and bring Holl back up as a 3rd pair or 7th defenseman. I want Hamonic off the team. IMO.
-
PS: Can we send Gibson to GR? Are either of Cossa or Postava back on the ice? (Actually, Cossa played last night: 24 saves 1 GA... Postava hasn't played since Nov 2nd...). Heck, call up Gylander if we want to keep Cossa in GR for now...
-
I'm ready to swap out some players. Sit Hamonic, put in JBD 3rd pair. Send Johannson to GR and call up Wallinder. Wallinder starts out as 3rd pair but if he is playing better than Chiarot boost him to 2nd pair. Or maybe Wallinder is a better match with ASP? I like the sound of a heavy-defensive 3rd pairing with Chiarot-JBD. Drop Ras-Berggren to GR and call up Lombardi-Mazur. See what happens with a little bit of a shake up here... Just my 2 cents.

I've known Christians with a terrible lack of morals. So I wouldn't try to peg that on "Oh, you're an atheist so you have no morals" because that's just BS. You and G2 have this pegged correctly: "Self-centered", "Idiots", I would add assholes. And being an A-Hole can be ANY denomination. It doesn't matter Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Buddhist... An asshole is an asshole. An abusive idiot is an abusive idiot. And like I said, I've known LOTS of Christians (and every other denomination) that fit that description. Being religious does not give anyone moral superiority. An asshole is an asshole. And like G2 said (paraphrasing): "A young American woman has got to be saying "I don't NEED this ****!!!""

I think Avila brought a lot of the right pieces into this Org, including a boatload of players and Hinch. But he was clearly in over his head. We're all thankful that Harris is our GM. And happy to be rid of Avila. Harris clearly understands draft and development, has invested the required resources in this and revamped it to be a proper developmental system, understands analytics and how to USE them... and is completely in-synch with Hinch. Who also understands draft and development and analytics completely. I like the emphasis in controlling the strike zone (both as a pitcher and as a hitter), and his drafts specifically for very high hit tool (power to be developed) and pitchers that can actually hit the strike zone. And I am also one willing to give Harris the time to get us to that Championship level... unlike Chas's idea that only he ("just about") is willing to give Harris the time... Avila was clearly over his head. But I think the effort to discredit Avila 100% for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he did is asinine. IMO.

PS: Besides, if we're giving up a crapload of 1sts for Markkanen (I'm on board with this... are you buddha (just askin'))... We ought to be able to swing one very minor personnel switch that's in our favor... Does including Sasser for Clayton make Utah say "No" to this deal of multiple 1sts for Markkanen? Do they shut down the deal because of this...? That would seem drastic.
-
For ****s and giggles?
-
Cool. Although stating that the reason women are losing interest in American men is because "America is full of atheist..." was not so cool. IMO.
-
Atheists do NOT believe in the devil. Just another figment of humankind's active imagination...
-
Did you have a problem with us atheists?
-
PS: Can we also give them Sasser, as well? Just for ****s and giggles? Or Sasser to Utah and we get Walter Clayton as part of the deal? Clayton is a bit more PG'y than Sasser...

If Langdon can pull off this trade, at a lesser cost... I give him kudos. How much lesser? I don't know exactly, but if it were (3) 1st rounders, (1) 1st round pick swap, and a few 2nd rounders... is that good? Can we get him at an even lesser cost than what I lowered it to...?
-
And Tork, and Dillon Dingler, and Mize and Jobe, and Kerry Carpenter and...
-
He hired AJ Hinch.
