  1. Correct that... Looks like he's a SS...
  2. 5th = Jack Penney, Lefty 3rd baseman out of Notre Dame.
  3. Was their Friday night starter... has some work to do but is part-way there already...
  4. 4th = Loading up on pitching: Michael Massey, 21, 6'5" 230 # RH'er from Wake Forest. Big FB/ Slider combo, working on curveball, control, etc...
  5. I am also thinking along this line...
  6. Carson stays ONLY if he signs an extension PRIOR to the deadline. IMO. If he has no extension by this trading deadline, I believe he will be moved. I won't put a high (IE: 95%) rate of belief in that though, and same with Flaherty... Because I'm thinking Harris/ Hinch/ Org may make the decision to "screw it, let's just go for as many wins as we can get to this year". I don't know what Harris is thinking in that vein, at least this year. Because... he's stated that his immediate goal is to build up the Org's system/ depth. And stated a few times I believe that he is going to trade these guys. To further build up our prospect pipeline. But with a competitive team trying to "grow up" and actually be able to win games... he may go against that and opt for Wins instead of Org Depth. I don't know what his thought process will be, faced with the current year situation. Jake might be moved. But it won't be at the break. It will be this year's offseason, at the earliest. But I'm thinking more along the lines of trade deadline NEXT year... That allows time for the Tigers to sign Kelly back to Detroit, for Dingler to show what he has/ does NOT have to offer in MLB... And to make certain injuries don't derail any of these plans... Tigers own the rights to Rogers for the next 2 or 3 years... They're not just going to dump him. While they still have question marks at Catcher.
  7. I guess this could be a "wrench" factor though...
  8. PS: Yes, I knew this. I was just making an obvious statement.
  9. I love the movement on Hall's FB. Wiggins is on my radar for our pick at #85. Brassfield... No.
  10. But then also Kemp for Lemon. Yay...!
  11. Popped by the Mariners at 55 right after I said that...
  12. Ryan Sloan was still sitting there... I'm assuming he's asking for too much money to sign and no one wants to go that high...
  13. Tigers select Owen Hall, RH HS Pitcher at #49.
  14. White Sox get Bonemer at 43... crap.
  15. PS: If you were talking about #72 I prefer Caleb Bonemer.
  16. I don't like the position players ranked around our #49 spot. But there's SEVERAL pitchers who look really good around that area... Braylan Doughty, David Shields, Luke Holman, Ryan Johnson, Bryce Meccage, Dasan Hill...
  17. And the guys who are currently playing (hitting) well in MLB: Greene, Keith, Carpenter...
  18. If both make it all the way to MLB and play well there... And Franyerber is the better fielder at SS... They can easily move Rainer over to 3B with his arm...
  19. MLB Scouting Comp for Rainer: Corey Seager
  20. Pick the right guy Harris... That's all I ask...
