  1. I probably just jinxed myself...
  2. Who do you want to unexpectedly fall to the Tigers...? My vote goes out for Cam Collier...
  3. I'm rooting for Prielipp & Porter in the Top 10!
  4. Kumar Rocker selected 3rd overall by the Rangers. Woohoo!!!
  5. I DO have a recipe... that I believe would be appropriate... It's for a Russian Quaalude: One shot of Stoli's Vodka, one shot of Kahlua, one shot of Bailey's Irish Cream, one shot of Frangelico hazelnut liqueur. Shaken over ice, and poured into (4) shot glasses. A "White Russian on steroids" shot.
  6. I'm going to watch the draft on ESPN tonight... I doubt there's any excitement there... But I'm tired and bored and not up for any excitement. I might zone in and out of the draft as consciousness also waxes and wains...
  7. Which PROVES that Trump has an IQ of AT LEAST TWELVE (12) !!!! Impressive for the most brainless fucking IMBECILE of a President in the History of the United States of America.
  8. I doubt that. The bible is a daily thing. They haven't read the Constitution in 40 years, since they had it in that one class with Professor ... errr, ummm... Professor ... ummm... Professor John Paul II?
  9. Jobe too if he's signing him to a 3-year in 3035... Did they discover the fountain of youth somewhere? Where is it? I'd like to know. If it's in Lakeland... I'm buying a winter home down there pronto...
  10. Dingler too. He doesn't deserve it as much as the other two guys... But I want him challenged.
  11. That sounds about right.... And to pfife's point... It's just simple... Fox News Regurgitation.
  12. Let's put that in one more term ("Tater's Terms"): Go big or go home.
  13. A little early to speculate on that... But it's gotta be an offensive superstar... like a Center. If Yzerman keeps his Cap in line, and builds a team of big, fast, tough defensive players that can create some offense (both forwards and D'men); which is what you are saying and also it looks like that is EXACTLY what he's doing... adding that 1 dominant offensive player might just be the trick. Yeah, like this. No... NOT this. THIS!!!:
  14. I'm going with Romad on this... he thinks the 18 fits better and to not even think about 16's. So 18's it is. MIG's however, they're already trained on. So, separate issue. Give them all the non-Russian MIG's. Now.
  15. And if we're talking to them about F-18's... Then why don't we just give the go ahead for all the MIG's floating around? I'm certain they'll figure out how to use them strategically. To protect their own territory. And all the NATO countries want to give them theirs... and we're holding them back. I'm pretty certain they're not planning to invade Russia and run all the way up to Moscow... They could have a MIG AF corps and an F-18 AF corps. I say give the go ahead. Now.
  16. Who said anything about doing something big? I don't expect anything big. The biggest thing they might do at the deadline is to clean house. Which still needs to be done. Out with all the dead weight and call up a bunch of rooks. I'm good with that.
  17. So... I was just checking contracts to see what we already have/ don't have (I wasn't paying my usual amount of attention so I was a little bit behind on this): Braxton Key is signed this year on a 2-way contract (good). Stan Umude is on an Exhibit-10 contract so auto-invite to Training Camp (good). Buddy Boeheim is the other two-way. Jules Bernard looks better. But no commitment to him at this point at all. Let's swap those last two...
  18. PS: I like them both better than Boeheim.
  19. I'd be fine with getting Key and Umude into Training Camp... Maybe they steal a 13th spot... Can always use a shooter.
  20. Yeah... I keep looking for something real. But on the flipside... He still remains unsigned... so...
  21. PS: I would rate Lockheed Martin currently as a Buy Rating.
  22. Well... there's one thing clear about this season: This won't be an ambivalent trade deadline.
  23. I don't think the F-16's are absolutely necessary; but would be very helpful, on offense. I say not necessary as their air defenses are still awesome. Russian pilots are afraid to venture into Ukrainian air space so they shoot from Russian territory. So I don't think they are critical as a defense. What is more critical, today, is HIMARS and rockets that have further range than the 40-mile ones being supplied to them today. They have 12 HIMARS. Give them 150 HIMARS and the Russians are retreating back to their 2014 lines, or all the way back into Russia. The F-16's would certainly help that, but I think the HIMARS and longer range missiles (I think we have up to 200 mile range missiles for the HIMARS?) are more critical. Where I think the F-16's are more critical, is an attempt to retake Crimea. Which is an extremely difficult task for Ukraine, a near impossibility without a Navy to speak of (especially in comparison to Russia) and a thin isthmus as an entry point into the virtual island. To invade Crimea, they'll need massive troop transports either by sea or air, and an F-16 force that can control the skies and cover for the invasion. The Ukrainians are worlds away from attempting to retake Crimea. But they could certainly push all of the Russians back into Russia from the Donbas and other eastern parts of Ukraine (sans Crimea).
