I think the issue is that financial advisors are expensive and therefore anyone with no money searches for advice where it costs no money.

They don't need a 4th string RB. They already have Jefferson, Jackson & Reynolds. I also want them to resign Jamaal so they have a "Thunder & Lightning" tandem. I consider Jamaal & Swift to be 1A (tough yardage) and 1B RB's (game-breaking yardage). They need a 2nd string RB to back up Swift, not 4th RB's like the above-mentioned trio. They DON'T need multiple CB's. Where are you getting that from? Their top 5 needs are: (1) CB, Safety, LB, DT, #2 RB depth. And... we have 5 picks in the top 3 rounds so my money stays on a RB selected in the top 3 rounds of 2023. Next comes: O-Line depth, backup/ developmental QB, Kicker competition. These are for the later rounds or 2024 (QB) if there's no one they like in 2023. The only one of these needs that could usurp the top 5 needs is QB if they decide on a QB they want to draft high this year. Extra CB's or Safeties or O-Line depth? That's for the 6th round. Book it.

Doubling down in gross exaggeration does not make it "not even...". Jamaal is a FA. Craig Reynolds is a weak 3rd/4th RB. He's not good. Justin Jackson has decent skills as a 3rd back but if Swift goes down he would be incapable of replacing even a modicum of what Swift provides. I do not mind him as a 3rd RB. But he's functional depth, not dynamic depth. Swift is often hurt. Dynamic when healthy... but he hasn't mastered the health aspect of the NFL yet so he is always suspect. One big injury to Swift and our RB depth is down to... Pretty much nothing. You're looking at a mirage Hongbit. And think you've found Mecca. It's just a mirage dude. Again, I'll guarantee that the Lions pick a RB in the top 3 rounds in this draft.

I think this front office is thinking that playmaker/ RB depth is never wrong to have. I agree with Mich Cardinal. IMO, a RB will be selected in the first 3 rounds in 2023. Because there's depth there. There will be talent available. And pushing Justin Jackson to 4th RB with a new draftee as 3rd RB and better depth behind Swift is not an issue at all. A no-brainer drafting a RB in this next draft.

I think he'll be primed to taking a starting roster spot in 2023-24... Uncertain how many/ if he'll get NHL games this season... But I'd like to see him at least come up for an NHL cup of coffee... 10-12 games or so...?

PS: If we are dependent on the Rams beating Seattle... I think those chances are just about zero so we may need to resign ourselves to finishing 9-8 and still losing out on the playoffs this year... Just sayin'...

Actually... I'm cheering for the Jets to get off their asses and steal this game against the Seahawks. Then I don't have to give a crap about Seattle's game next week...

Seattle and Green Bay are both winning big so there very well may be (3) 8-8 teams next week, us included. How do we get in the playoffs? (A) Beating Green Bay is obvious. (B) We also need Seattle to lose to the Rams to get in, I think. If Seattle wins next week, I think we are shut out of the playoffs...

That's my point. And they won 77 the year before when everything went right (including the glue, rubber bands, and paper clips that worked in 2021 but failed in 2022), and went out and brought in 3 higher level players (Eduardo/ Baez/ Meadows) that all under-performed each in their own way last year... I think if they just fix their broken bats and arms and yes, '22 rookies, (I believe not only Tork! but also Greene can do significantly better)... that they really aren't that far from hitting .500. '22 absolutely everything went wrong and they won 66... I'm going to stick to my usual optimism and state, even this early in the game, that we get those 81 wins.

Not even that... All the broken pitchers and all the broken bats will be put back together again by all the king's Harris's men...

Isn't it Berggren-Veleno-Soderblom on a line? A high level playmaker (Berggren), a do-whatever-is-needed Center, and a 6' 8" sharpshooter... Yeah... I think that's benefitting Veleno quite a lot... but it's also a pretty damn fine 3rd line as well...
