  1. I'm guessing that... He's hiding out in the current Mar-a-Lago detail which would suit his purposes/ loyalties perfectly. I would consider him a threat to our Democracy; along with the rest of MAGA-land, from top to bottom. Fire the entire Mar-a-Lago detail and replace them with Liberal-Only SS agents. Trump would love that.
  2. But I have large hands and feet. And I know how to use them.
  3. Swap Olynyk for Noel if we're pushing for some offense. Noel is in there if we're protecting a lead.
  4. Yeah, that ain't happenin' unless injuries force that lineup. Crunch time in the 4th quarter = Cade - Burks - Bey - Stewart - Noel. A mix of tough defense, vet leadership, and enough offense to squeeze by.
  5. 24 hours? Wow! He's had enough! Also: he now sees what can happen when a liberal Justice overstays and then gets replaced by a modern times Republican Political HACK on the bench. Not good things.
  6. Those agents that WERE on detail during Trump's last year: Clean house. Early retirement. Broom them out the door. Whichever one of those works best.
  7. And fascism supportive.
  8. That's sort of funny but not funny... Hard to sort the feelings out once I get past my laughter...
  9. It's not an accident. It's called "Science". No deity required. That's also called science. Some of which we have come to understand. And a much more that we're still working on.
  10. Oops. Lee already said that. PS: I would also say that at the age of 11 I decided I was an atheist and that god did not exist. Except in mankind's imagination. But prior to the age of 11 I was either a "Roman Catholic in Training" (obviously the training did not stick...) or an agnostic since I was too young to know anything and therefore I didn't know anything. But (also) whilst the training was going on, I was questioning everything... and came upon the correct answer.
  11. That's called "Agnostic".
  12. I think SF or SG/SF is where we need that, more than at PF... Livers, Olynyk, Bagley, Stewart, and even Bey can squeeze into the PF spot.
  13. Another way to say what you are saying is that previously: Trump and some of the other seditionists may have had "plausible deniability" due to a lack of information. There is no longer a lack of information, or evidence, no more "plausible deniability"; the second tower has been hit.
  14. No such thing. Man created god in his own image because he didn't know any of the answers and so... 50,000 years ago mankind created "the Happy Hunting Grounds"; and it evolved from there into what it is today. In all its various forms. Everything else is pure coincidence or human creation through the gifts of curiosity and story-telling.
  15. I would be much more amenable to 1 of the guys after Edvinsson than Cossa or Bertuzzi. Plus whatever additional draft picks it took.
  16. Bertuzzi is too much to me. What are your guys thoughts on that? Also, what is the possibility of using only draft picks to swing a trade like this? That's where I would want to start... which doesn't say that either Montreal or Jersey are on board with that... Just from my POV where I hope Yzerman would also start and/ maybe draw the line too. If picks don't do it, than we live with Savoie or Kasper or whatever under-the-radar superstar Stevie Y is able to find underneath the rock that no one else thought to look under (just sayin'...).
  17. How about two 1sts? Just asking for thoughts...
  18. Well... Erdogan got his deal. I don't like him, but good for him. And Sweden & Finland now join NATO. Huge win for NATO, Ukraine, those two countries, and the U.S. Huge loss for the current Russian Nazi Fascist regime of Vladimir Putin.
  19. How about Taurean Prince & Malik Monk?
  20. No (I don't believe so)... I think it would cost the #8 pick this year in the first round, our 2022 2nd round (8th pick) and 3rd round (8th) picks. Or this and next years 1sts (or a 2024 1st which would be even better), and our 2022 2nd round (20th) pick. But I'm just wagging this. I've never followed hockey draft trades in-depth... But I don't believe you're anywhere near correct. Aside from the fact that Yzerman is not trading either one of those guys in this package. I know players get traded in the draft, but, for example (last year's Yzerman trade): 2021: 23rd pick, 48, 138 for #15. That's not much to go on so... like I said... that's just a WAG on my part. The other thing that says the cost might be lower than normal is that there are no "franchise" type players in this draft. So if Wright is a #2C and not more than that... I think a trade can be had for less cost than suspected.
  21. That's not every single week in perpetuity and historically. That's just for the short time period right after her music popped up on Stranger Things. That I can get. It was thinking that "right now" meant "infinity" so... I need to reign in my impulsive thinking here...!!!
  22. There is a point of diminishing returns on draft picks... where the value of multiple picks is not as valuable as a key draft pickup. I think Yzerman was cognizant of that year when he traded up for Cossa. And, I know moving up for Wright would be much more costly than the move up for Cossa, so maybe it's apples & oranges... but I think the sentiment might not be different. In my mind, it is more important, at this point in time, to move up and snag Wright and try to slot him in as the #2 Center, than to have the later pick and the extra picks for "other guys". We'll see if Yzerman is thinking the same, or not... Otherwise, yeah, OK, it's just me.
