If a D'Man falls to us I'd want it to be Nemec more than Jiricek. But I doubt either falls that far. I've seen Lekkerimaki also mocked to Detroit. High-end offensive skill. Still, amongst the choices who realistically may fall/ be available to the Wings, amongst: Gauthier, Savoie, Lekkerimaki, Kasper, Nazar ... It's Savoie I want most. The rest are mostly tied. Including the defenseman after Nemec and Jiricek are gone.

Might depend on the oligarch... Some are staunchly against fascism. But in Russia, Putin kills off those dissenting oligarchs so they better be in his back pocket and be licking his boots, or else... DeSantis has already tried that in Florida. Punishing those against his politics and rewarding those who kiss his feet. Are we turning into our own version of Russia? Professors and College students are required to report their political leanings to the State. That doesn't sound like a Democracy to me at all. That sounds exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, like a Fascist Police State. Trump is a wannabe Kim Jung Un. He wants to own everything (an entire country) and everyone is required to give him everything. DeSantis is a straight up police state fascist. I don't like where this country is headed.

It depends on what your definition is of "better off". He is a much, much more dangerous fascist than TFG. So, how is that better off?

Not enough. Cameron has hit above AA. Also not enough, but I still believe he has a useful bat in there somewhere. Too bad it isn't his dad's bat. I mean, Willi probably also has enough of a bat in there somewhere... it periodically shows up. But he's still crap in the OF. I prefer EXACTLY what Tenacious said several posts later: I think Cameron still has a chance to be long term. But he does need to show something more than what he has. So yeah, at this point only Baddoo is showing enough to be long term. But speaking to what Tenacious posted... Baddoo is still struggling against LH'ers as far as I know. So... Baddoo/ Cameron platoon. Reyes still stays the 4th OF'er. If Cameron is facing roughly 3 LH'ers per week, plus PH opportunities (and vice verse for Baddoo), on a pretty much consistent basis (as close to it as he can get)... then maybe he pops against LH'ers and shows he could deserve some extra playing time. Maybe he even pushes Meadows to DH next year.. who knows?

What has Willi shown that he belongs in MLB?

I would rather have Daz Cameron and Baddoo back here. His glove limitations, and really limited bat as well, really should have Willi down in Toledo. No support for Willi here.
