  1. In my opinion, cases don't matter anymore. Only hospitalizations/ death. If cases go up 1,000% and hospitalizations go up 5% as a result... moot point. Nothing should change from our current approach. In other words... I'm ready to move on with life.
  2. In answer to this... One note of caution: If an album has only 1 or 2 songs on it that I like then... I may like the artist/ songs but don't care for the album. I've never listened to the whole album by Bill Withers, Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, some others... but I do know that I like a song or two. In either case, I wouldn't rank the album as I'm thinking in terms of loving the album, not just 1 or 2 songs. Aside from that: Genesis was too much for me at that time period. I liked them more after Peter Gabriel left and they became a lot more pop, or easy to listen to. Now I really love me some Peter Gabriel... but not with Genesis. The Rolling Stones/ David Bowie/ Pink Floyd/ have better albums than these, but there's at least one or two songs I like per album. Same with Bill Withers & Marvin Gaye, there's 1 or 2 songs that I absolutely love, but I can't speak to the whole album as I haven't listened. The Allman Brothers I know the whole album, but mostly just care about 1 song. None of these albums would gain a ranking from me... just not enough there when I'm thinking in terms of albums. As an entire album, these are the ones that are historically great, I love them to death, equally. I can't put any one above or below the other: Led Zep IV, Who's Next, L.A. Woman. These others, I absolutely love the album, even if they are not as iconic as the above albums (so they get the smaller font). I wouldn't be able to separate them or rank them, just as above, as I love each of them for their own uniqueness in sound and mood and excellence, but they are 1 step below the above list: Fragile, RAM, Imagine, Masters of Reality, Aqualung.
  3. Chiming in here... I want to give them what they've asked for in terms of military hardware. That means all the available Polish and Romanian MIG's that they keep asking for. 50-75 jets I think, between the two countries? And enough anti-ship missiles to watch the Russian Black Sea Naval Forces, all of it, to sink to the bottom...
  4. I don't know how many anti-ship missiles they have but we're trying to get them more...
  5. As soon as I heard Ukraine was pushing back Russian forces I started to worry about Putin lashing out with a chemical or nuclear attack in revenge/ frustration/ rage. I won't put it past him at all.
  6. How about a top 10,000 list?
  7. Yeah... Soto didn't pitch all that well either... But it's early, and Spring Training, so...
  8. Russian invasion forces Officially declared War Criminals by Biden/ U.S.
  9. They'll get a lot more time with the Red Wings, to develop, so we'll see what happens. Rumor has it that "Sunny" Sundqvist has an infectiously optimistic locker room personality so... there's that. Yzerman uncovers another gold nugget discarded for... reasons.
  10. This isn't difficult at all. 10K dead, at least (probably more) 15-20K at least, wounded or incapacitated 5K plus? Surrendered. This is the biggest unknown as I haven't seen any documented numbers here. Just stories. But that's a 30K starting point, with a high degree likelihood of larger numbers... out of 150-190K that entered Ukraine (I don't know if the actual entered-combat number has been verified?)
  11. Sorry, my original comment may have been too general. What I meant is that the fascist movement that is specifically trying to overturn the 2020 election will die with Trump. Other parts of the fascist movement that was Pandora-Box opened by Trump will live on, I agree. Such as the willingness to use violence to try and overturn a future election, to attempt the murder of US politicians, to lie/ cheat/ steal elections in the future by nefarious undemocratic means will still exist, etc... Pandora's box has definitely been opened. (does that one work Sue?)
  12. Only if Trump is still alive. That fascist movement will die with him.
  13. I have a better idea than just "locking down" or "freezing" Russian assets held by US Banks and other US entities: https://www.yahoo.com/news/senators-discuss-freezing-russian-gold-002710655.html Confiscate all those assets, gold and otherwise. That includes all these oligarchic mega-yachts. And transfer ownership of all of those assets over to the Ukrainian Government as war reparations. For Russia's extensive war crimes. That should be fun...!
  14. Bon Jovi bores me to tears, I hate them. Funny story... About 15 years ago, a Marketing girl (only 23 I think, at the time) about 20 years my junior is leaving the company for a better job offer. Everyone is hanging out at a bar just having a drink or two at a table and somehow she's directly to my left, next to her boyfriend. She's going on and on about how much she loves 80's music and, in particular, Bon Jovi. I, on the other hand, am ripping Bon Jovi apart: regurgitated weak-kneed insipid pop rock that I've heard 1,000 times before by better bands than Bon Jovi, etc., etc., etc. This goes on for most of the time I was there. She wasn't very pleased with my ripping on them. She even had a depressing look of annoyance on her face. I couldn't stop though, Bon Jovi sucks, and she couldn't talk me out of that, defending them as bravely as she could. But after a socially correct drink or two, I stand up, wish her a successful and happy career, etc... And then belt out several lines of Livin' on a Prayer, loudly, including the higher pitched chorus... Almost the entire bar started "whooping", the table bursts out in laughter... She nearly fell out of her chair, hysterical(ly laughing). A quick hug, "good luck", exit stage left.
  15. Hmmm... I thought there was more than that due to trying to compress the season. And not till mid-May means moot point anyways. But yeah... I'll stick with the tandem/ split starts idea for now...
  16. At the start of the season I'm pretty certain they could schedule a tandem start. Either Manning or Peralta scheduled to go 5 innings, with the plan that Alexander comes in and finishes the game... 4 innings or otherwise. It would keep him stretched out at the beginning of the season, give the BP a "rest" day, and within the first month, that would allow the team to figure out any adjustments needed. Which may or may not include pushing Ty into the BP as a long reliever, or slotting him in the 5th spot (if Manning or Peralta falter...), etc... Isn't there a boatload of double-headers scheduled this season? He may even be needed as a scheduled 6th starter.
  17. Hilarious. And show it as the joke that it is.
  18. Dude... You're supposed to stick around for the pending Palace Coup.
  19. It would be interesting to say the least.
  20. Overthrow Luka (by the Byelorussian people...) and immediately request admittance into the EU and NATO... Joined by Sweden and Finland requesting entry into NATO... Putin would blow a gasket.
  21. And also the ability to get off the line and break any jams or other/ similar....
  22. Detroit Red Wings, 26-30-7, 9-18-3 AWAY ESPN+ 3/24 7:30 PM New York Islanders, 27-25-9, 16-12-4 HOME
  23. If we're getting a King's Ransom for the #2 pick I'll take that too...
