  1. This is not correct. This is correct. Which doesn't make it any better since, as buddha pointed out, Chychrun is actually an NHL player whilst Cholo is craptitude Ken Holland sucks.
  2. I'mn not bashing Blashill for this, I'm supporting him. I'm saying the same thing you are... the kids (outside of Mo & Raymond) aren't playing defense and aren't earning time on ice (for lack of defense, puck possession, passing, all the things you outlined). It's as simple as that. So of course they're bitching about Blash...
  3. It could also be that Blashill is demanding the kids play responsible defense, or a two-way game; and to "earn" their time on ice... and the kids (outside of Mo and Lucas) just want their ice time and to play lots and lots of offense (forgetting about D...). On that basis, he's obviously justified.
  4. Because he's SUCH a "Strong" leader.... duh!!!
  5. Dude... You seriously need to look in a mirror...
  6. Which side is that? The "I'm a lying MF'er" side? The "I live in outer space and it's really nice out here I don't know why you guys don't want to join me in this vacuum" side? The "I just make shit up and pull it out of my ass" side? The "I live in an alternate reality where the only truth is whatever horseshit I make up (aka ... the MAGA Universe)" side? The "I wouldn't know a fact if it hit me square in the face" side? The "Scream at my TV because 'Fox News - we only tell our side of the truth' is on" side?
  7. You are full of shit yet again: https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/25/politics/fact-check-trump-obama-golf/index.html
  8. Competition = good.
  9. A coup attempt? Do I win...?
  10. Putin doesn't want 15,000 Russian funerals in Russia... It might shorten his lifetime dictatorship appointment.
  11. It's to hide dead Russian bodies from their Russian Mama's. They need to bury all the Russian bodies in a single graveyard, the "Russian Invaders Burial Ground", with 15,000 graves so all the Russian Babushkas can come and visit/ pay respect to their dead sons. Along with their families, widows, etc... This will go over very well back home....
  12. That has serious laughingstock potential...
  13. Diva. That's what the grapevine is saying. Not a Dan Campbell type. Which could complicate matters. #1 on my wish list: Jax takes an OT so the Lions can have a clear choice of whoever they want as their top pick.
  14. Ukraine released the names/ addresses/ phone numbers of 620 Russian spies: https://news.yahoo.com/russian-spies-unmasked-embarrassing-blow-195029554.html
  15. In a fit of pique. That would be exactly like him.
  16. He talked to Jada who wasn't quite so happy. That was the mood swing.
  17. But also read the fine print... If Walker is outside the OT 63% of the time, then he's on the inside, between two OL'man, 37% of the time. Easy to get doubled. That changes the calculus and I'm not certain by how much...
  18. Oh... reality? Well, since "Stop the Steal" was completely unmoored from reality... I would say not. But a real attempt at a coup (and there were two.. Eastman's non-violent plan as documented and Trump's plan to use violent fascist protesters to engineer the coup...) doesn't need the basis to be reality. The attempt(s) were made. It's still criminal whether reality is in the picture or... not.
  19. Smoke. Fire. Fire Blashill.
  20. I think the roster is improving quickly and will so again before we start next season. The issue in my mind is what can Steve do about the coaching? A) Blash is losing the team so badly that he MUST be replaced? B) We are not yet at the stage where we can find a premium coach willing to take on this team and therefore, by default we are stuck with Blash for at least one more year? C) A premium coach IS interested in jumping to the Red Wings, this offseason, and therefore Steve is able to make the coaching change that he wants (whether that's Larionov or someone else... just saying...)? D) Steve actually believes that Blash is the right coach for this team, right now, and sticks with him. At least for one more year?
  21. There was definitely a plan.
  22. Because... this... I saw this earlier and was going to post this... So in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, the Russians decide that it's an OK idea to poison/ murder the Ukrainian negotiators? Or maybe they were just F'ing with them with some kind of irritant? Either way... WTF is wrong with these pricks? Where is the Queen of Hearts when you need her? "Adolph Putin... OFF with your Head!!!"
  23. Personally, I want his head.
  24. Nope, absolutely not. At least in my mind it's a hard no. As to some of your other questions... I think there is nothing anyone can do outside of Russia... so it's a moot point anyways. But inside Russia is where it gets tricky... I don't necessarily believe Putin will lose his head over what he has done so far... But the oligarchs aren't stupid either. They are in a permanently damaged financial situation (for however many years "permanent" actually means) and, even though they no longer are in "Putin's inner circle", I can't imagine they have zero contacts both within the inner circle and with Putin himself. Any serious griping from the oligarchs or the inner circle will have some kind of impact on Putin's leadership, including and up to "you need to step down." What actual chances of that happening are... unknown. But it's not zero either, and it may, or may not include, violence. The other thing is: I don't think the Russians are stopping anything at this point. After the rainy season, in another month or so, the ground will dry up and Russian tanks can roll again. There may be another secondary invasion beginning mid-May or so. ONLY if Ukraine survives that and damages Russian invading forces will the "inner circle" talking get loud enough for there to be any chance of regime change in Russia. And I won't bet on a violent change either. Russia may back off (if Ukraine survives a second assault), ask Putin to retire to his billionaires mansion in southern Russia, and simply hide/ protect him while emplacing a less belligerent leader. But... I'm certain Putin will have something to say about that scenario. Currently, the world is stuck with a belligerent, fascist, murderous dictator at the head of a nuclear state... with no real way out of that aside from what Russian Insiders may, or may not be able to do. In whatever direction Russia turns over the next several months... Everyone on the planet seriously hopes that Putin isn't so reckless/ dangerous/ belligerent that he actually decides to start pushing buttons.
