  1. It's definitely weak sauce. I mean... how weaker can the sauce get? Carlson even believes this horseshit? Cutting off Russian oil is the "most damaging thing ever"? Really? It's so freaking weak it almost seems like Putin called up Carlson and said: "Hey Tucker, say this....". And Benedict Tucker Carlson went ahead and said it. Un-freaking-believable.
  2. Hopefully it turns out to be true.
  3. Benedict Arnold traitor to America. Plain & simple. He's Putin's boot-licking parrot. Will no one call him out for shilling for Putin's fascist dictatorship? The MF'er should be fired. And exiled. Put on a one-way plane to Russia. Did I ever mention that I think Carlson is a total deuchebag?
  4. I don't want to chase Watson. We're still rebuilding this team. So if we are going for broke on a QB, I want it after this team is built sufficiently, regardless whether we go after a veteran or someone just coming out of college. I don't mind paying the price... but I want to wait on paying that price until the last moment, when we're more certain of where this team stands and, whether that go-for-broke price is worth it.
  5. Prefer this plan over the Correa plan. I don't think we need an OF'er just yet though. I'd rather save that for the trade deadline to see whether it's worth it or not to chase another bat. And I'd rather give internal options enough run to start the season to see whether they sink or swim. I'm good with another starter and reliever though. Always liked McHugh. And I think Grienke would be as valuable off the field as on. IMO.
  6. Well then I guess we need to protect our convoys with military forces. How about NATO forces all the way to the Dnieper River, and a no-fly over all of Ukraine. Backed up by Patriot missiles installed in western Ukraine. And to top it off, a relief force sent through Mykolaiv and Kherson and all the way to Mariupol to prevent Russian forces from committing genocide against the entire city of Mariupol, which they are now currently attempting. But that's just me.
  7. If we get the #1... I'm pretty certain that's Jabari Smith. Otherwise... I can see it being Ivey. But then my next question is... where can we find a rim-protecting rim-running defensive-stalwart Center? I want Stew coming off the bench as 6th man and I don't think Bagley is the right guy to be a starter, or fits the Center I just described above. If we added Ivey & (just as an example: Myles Turner) the right Center... I think this team can go places. The same with adding Jabari and the right Center (although we would be short the right-hand wing-man for Cade with Jabari...). I would think we'd have a shot at the playoffs next year. Although... that would be a pretty big jump... Just being optimistic and thinking out loud...
  8. Wins not important at this point/ this season. Cade busting out is though... Makes me excited for next year. I like what Bagley brings as well... I think that's a steal for Weaver... or at least at this early juncture.
  9. Crap... I thought I had successfully excised all these names from my memory banks and you had to go ahead and reinvigorate them... Ugggh!!!
  10. Even before he signed I was thinking Rodon was going to be too expensive. Is Pineda more in our budget? That's the guy I'd want as a 5th starter. Not too critical or expensive that he can't be superceded if Wentz gets really hot in AAA.
  11. Detroit Red Wings, 24-27-7, 8-15-3 AWAY ESPN+ 3/12 7:00 PM Calgary Flames, 35-15-7, 17-5-5 HOME A TRIFECTA for this game:
  12. I was talking about all the Generals or other senior commanders that the Ukrainians keep killing. How are they getting to them? Intelligence? Comm intercepts? Vehicle markings? Any of these 3 points to severe weaknesses on the Russian side in protecting their senior military leadership.
  13. Two things: 1) I'm not certain if command vehicles are marked as such; but if so, easy targets for the Ukrainians (who can also hear Russian comm's and... get this, both read and translate/understand Russian...) 2) Is senior Russian military leadership at the front lines due to Putin's demand? Or because of current on-the-ground failures to-date? Or both? Regardless, it doesn't seem to be helping much...
  14. Something like that...
  15. Can we indict Gabbard too? As lobbying for a foreign country illegally, without properly registering...?
  16. I wanna guess that he's hit a wall. I don't want to make any rush to judgement on this year... has he ever played this much? Or faced this many shots on a game-by-game basis? Or had some weak defensive play in front of him, like, this? I think I want to see a full slate of games next year, and maybe some better defense in front of him... before I feel more comfortable getting a read on him...
  17. Vrana-Veleno-Zadina all of a sudden is... Something.
  18. That would be beyond hilarious if Japan and Georgia took back their territories whilst he's entranced with Ukraine. Just need Moldova to take back Transdniestria for the trifecta. Armenia-Azerbaijan seems a bit complicated; I don't want to wade into that one...
  19. Vrana making an immediate impact!!!
  20. This part I get. That's why I put 99.9% unlikelihood. But then again... Never know what Stevie Y is going to pull out of his... Hat.
  21. Who is actually a viable internal option on the future team outside of Edvinsson? How would you rank, and what % chances given to make the NHL, and which line projection (1st-2nd-3rd pairing potential) upside (none of us might have (I certainly don't) any "scouting" level ability to actually make those projections... just asking for anyone's thoughts): Sebrango, McIsaac, Buium, Tuomisto, Wallinder, Viro, Johannson, (anyone else?) Maybe even include Lindstrom... IE: 1. Lindstrom, 100%, 2nd pairing upside 2. Sebrango, 80%, 3rd pairing upside 3. Johannson, 75%, 2nd pairing upside ... Anyone wanna take a stab?
  22. Quite possibly, yes. But... it's complicated...
  23. Out of my hands at this point. (Which is why I am catching up in here...) Now it's on to the Board, Audit Partners, CFO to finalize and publish...
  24. Wanna bring up a point: My interest in trading for Chycrun (not going to happen, at least 99.9%, except ya never know what Stevie Y has up his sleeve...): But... I have a certain logic to wanting him. Which is: the desire for having two effective blueliner tandems. If you like someone a whole lot more than Chycrun, just replace him with Insert Name Here: ____________. Now, I'm excited for Edvinsson to make the Red Wings in 2022-23 as much as anyone (hopefully he breaks camp with the Wings with minimal to zero time spent on the Griffins). In making up defensive pairings (I think buddha opined that he wants our best two as a pairing in order to have a dominating pair. I don't mind that idea, it sounds awesome. Except I think I prefer...) to maximize the time that EITHER Seider or Edvinsson are on the ice at any point in time, or both. So let's say they both are on the ice for 22 min's/ game, and Hronek & Chycrun (humor me for now...) are on the ice 16 min's/ game... on average. I want Chycrun paired with Seider and Edvinsson paired with Hronek for 16 minutes per game. Seider and Edvinsson get 6 minutes per game exclusively with each other (power plays, penalty kills, or just 5-on-5's...), so there is time for domination. BTW: Chycrun & Hronek probably make for a pretty nice 2nd power play pairing... but I wouldn't let them near any penalty kills... But anyways... that's my reasoning. I want two effective pairings, and time managed/ or protections for the weaker links (Chycrun & Hronek) in those pairings whilst the dominant D'men (Seider & Edvinsson) play in all situations, get the extra time together, etc. In this type of plan, Seider and/ or Edvinsson are on the ice 38 minutes per game, as opposed to 22 minutes with a much weaker 2nd & 3rd pairing soaking up all other D minutes. I prefer the 38 mixed minutes. Now... I drew it up on the board... anyone else agree? Disagree? Why?
