  1. ... becomes our #1 Position Player Prospect after Greene gets enough time in MLB...
  2. He's 31 years old. It's not like he's the future of the Tigers... Dodgers want him/ they can have him/ what do we get?
  3. I believe the manipulation of the baseball is specifically due to the Steroid Era. Homers Galore! and the interest in baseball skyrocketed (starting with the McGwire-Sosa great HR chase, "breaking" Maris's record, and then Bonds and "breaking" Aaron's record...). Dontcha know chicks dig the longball? And owners love raking in all that money... But then steroids testing and penalties shot up as the steroid jig was up (in 2005 or 2006 or... ? don't remember the exact year) and the longball crashed back to earth. What to do....? Hmmm... Juice the baseballs? I think that was the specific reaction to the drop in HR's after the age of steroids came to an end... Management Decision.
  4. I really like Wenceel... But I keep inexplicably forgetting to put him on my "Top" lists for some reason...
  5. So that works for Hill, Cameron, or Reyes... and we hope 1 of them can do a lot better than that... But there are reasons it would work for those guys and not Willi. I'm on board with the dump Grossman contingent. He's outlived his usefulness to me.
  6. PS: I mean, it's obvious that they are at the mercy of who gets selected in the top 4. But that sounds like "code" for what if Ivey falls to us, or Chet, or Pancho? That's why I asked that question...
  7. I hope that means that if CHET falls to 5 that they are NOT going to consider him anyways... Or if Pancho or Ivey fall to 5... is that a discussion? Let's say it's Jabari, Chet, Mathurin (surprise!) and 1 of Pancho or Ivey is selected with the other falling to #5... If Ivey falls... him, or Keegan? If Pancho falls, him or Keegan? (If Keegan somehow slips into the top 4, replace the choices with Mathurin or ______). Just wondering what everyone else thinks....
  8. And watch Bitcoin triple immediately afterwards...
  9. We get the Royal Flush if that happens. I don't want to count on that... certainly not quite yet... But we'll see. If that does happen... I wonder if the general attitude in here just might change...
  10. I would say this. Pacheco, Keith, Campos, Santana & Dingler. But we'll need some more time to see who rises to the top...
  11. So you've at least been looking in the mirror now? That's a positive step.
  12. Fascist fucking scum.
  13. Same... I started doing stuff around the house after the 2nd and the Tigers leading 4-1... And come back to this BEATDOWN!!!
  14. Just so you guys know... These aren't regular runs. You can't say that the Tigers scored 14 runs today... In fact, anything over 3 runs scored in a single game, for the rest of this season, aren't regular runs... They are RAGE RUNS!!! The Tigers have scored 14 RAGE RUNS!!! today... I thought it was important to note that...
  15. Trump can't even get on a fucking bike. Try again.
  16. The weapons supply to Ukraine absolutely needs to pick up the pace...
  17. Thanks for that...!
  18. I figured they would have revelations but was too scared to hope for stunning revelations... So they still have exceeded my expectations...!
  19. I'm waiting for the Greiner/ Ramos/ Jacoby Jones/ Mazara moment with this team. I also don't care if Clemens hasn't done much. Like you... I think he's still worth taking a flyer on. And I don't care if we have superstars waiting in the minors, or not. Some of these 40 man slots just need to be pushed out the door and next man up, for good or for bad. I don't care. Maybe Clemens figures out MLB pitching and is halfway decent as a bench guy or sometimes 2B starter. How do we know unless he gets enough PA's to prove it one way or another? Same with someone like Kerry Carpenter who may prove he's got nothing in MLB... So what? Give him a shot anyways. When can we have our 2022 Grossman/ Schoop/ Haase (to AAA)/ Tork (to AAA) moment and go next man up, just to give someone else a shot (and the team a shot in the arm?), even if the next guy isn't all that.
  20. I didn't really have any set expectations so... I would say definitely exceeded.
  21. How many volts/ amps needed to recharge an E-Car? I'm pretty certain it's not just taking a jump start from a 12-Volt 'nother cars battery...
  22. That depends on how fast we roll out the Infrastructure Bill. Which includes a huge investment in a rechargeable-station grid. Can they roll that out faster than E-Cars can be built/ put on the road?
  23. And that's because there is a wide diversity of political opinions within the Dem Party and therefore not one faction is able to exert control over the entire party. Aside from holding Centrist sentiments... I'm also of the mind that you "pass what you can" and what you can't pass you try for at a later time. I'm glad Infrastructure passed. I'm glad it was separated from the rest of BBB because that was not only "what could be passed", it was also what was could be passed to include bipartisanship along with whatever Republicans decided they would actually vote for infrastructure which this country clearly has needed for at least 20 years. I think, politically, it's smarter to "pass what you can" with the balance of BBB items, even if it's only 2 out of 10, because passing 2 is better than passing 0. I think you are stating that and I'm on board with that, always have been. If the rest of the Dem Party could get on board, and decide to pass 3 of the 10... a bill could still be hammered out. And then the balance gets determined in the 2022 elections. I know it's not looking good for Dems at this point... But I pass 2 or 3 of those 10, get what we can, and then I would bet on myself (the Dem Party) and hope for the best.
  24. I'm going to go to the centrist/ fiscal conservative side of my personality to answer this: Foremost in my mind is the tight labor market causing inflation. So... I would want the free kindergarten and the childcare assistance first and foremost since women are staying at home instead of entering the workforce specifically because of these costs. Reduce these costs in the US, millions of young women/ mothers jump back into the workforce, and inflationary pressures in salaries drop. I'm also a firm believer in a college education and therefore a reduction in college loans and/or a reduction in college tuition is a positive for the overall future of this country. The more educated, since we are now fully in an information/ AI/ renewables/ etc. economy, the better. Someone might have some different viewpoints, but I think those two are at the top of my want list... Anything after that is gravy for whoever has a vested interest in those mashed potatoes.
  25. Frickin' Soto. I vote for this.
