Tork 0-3 with two BB's... Clemens 2-5 with a couple singles. Also: Aderlin Rodriguez with a Grand Slam. 29th HR this year... One last note: I still think Elvin Rodriguez will turn into something for us... back-end starter, middle reliever... who knows? But he made his AAA debut with 2 innings, 1 hit and 3 K's... Unless they give up 7 or more runs in the top of the 9th... that's it for these guys tonight in the batter's box.

There are several on one year contracts right now who will be off the 40 after this season: Drew Hutchinson, Ian Krol, Derek Holland, Wily Peralta, Jose Urena. Should we be saving any 40-man spots for any of these guys?

The United States of America has the power. They can do whatever they want. So dump some of the deep south, carve out a welfare state portion... and give it to the rednecks. MAGA would flock to the Redneck States of America.... so we would no longer have to worry about divvying up portions of states like Michigan or Ohio. MAGA is huge in southeastern Ohio, and they would migrate, leaving the state blue. A huge portion of MAGA Michigan would migrate. Along with large portions of the states I noted above. And trade us all Non-MAGA from Redneck States and the real United States turns heavily blue. I would also combine the Dakotas into one state... there's nobody in those states anyways, so just combine them into one.

I would be for this. It would cut off US Federal funds from going to Fascist states. They're a drain on our resources anyways as they are all welfare states. But I would piss them off too. I would only allow Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky to leave. And I would take the Appalachians away from them and give them to West Virginia (gotta keep the mountains, even with nothing but rednecks there). We'll trade them the Florida panhandle to make up for them losing the mountains. It can become a part of Alabama (it already technically is anyways). Enough to change the dynamics of our political and economic system without giving away anything of value. 10 less Redneck Senators and so many Representatives. And if crybaby MAGA wants to flood out of Georgia and Florida and Oklahoma and Missouri to the Redneck Whites Only Confederate States that's OK too. We'll trade any MAGA wanting to migrate for all their Democrats and Independents. Wow! This could be AWESOME!!!

I have no interest in a bat-only OF'er, per RM's list. None whatsoever. We can add multiple bats by bringing up Tork & Greene, signing a SS and a Catcher, and replacing Castrei and Niko for 1 or 2 of Clemens, Kreidler and Paredes. At least not until Miggy is retired and the DH spot opens up. That is not until some time later in 2022, on a guess. But not out of Spring Training. And I agree with Casimir... I'd rather have a "Real" bench player for the IF or OF, and not a DH-only bat. Rotate guys through the DH as a half-day off rather than dump a can't-field dude in there permanently...

I think in a year Sewell will have picked up on the NFL, and will return to next year's training camp primed to steal LT from Decker. I think when Sewell is ready to take over LT, Decker has to move to Right. If it isn't this year, I'm betting it's next year... If Decker is a RT, he'll be overpriced. I'm perfectly fine with two monster tackles. But I'm willing to trade Decker too... although only if we get an LT-in-high-demand price. More than 1 pick, more than just a 1st. If it happens this year.. I won't squawk, either.

Yeah. The high point of unemployment under Bush's Great Recession was about 10% I believe, hitting Obama in his first year. From there, during Obama's Presidency unemployment dropped from that 10% to 4.2%, before he handed it over to Trump. So, yeah, he gets credit. Oh, Trump reduced that from 4.2% to 3.5%, so he gets a little bit of credit too. Although, he did NOT change Obama's trendline from pre-2017, so... all he was really doing was riding Obama's coattails. Which everyone knows.
