  1. In other words... Cyber Ninjas is a bunch of lying MF'ers.
  2. Those 49,000 votes are BS. There is no investigation to be done whatsoever. The duplicates were a second ballot sent in by those notified of an incorrect first ballot (errors, not signing it, etc) so it was a chance to make a correction to a well-intended ballot that would have been tossed. The state is ALLOWED to do that. It's a normal part of the process. Your 49,000 "irregular" votes are complete and total bullshit, with bullshit reasons by a bullshit "audit". How's that for liberal media reporting?
  3. Hey... I'm an ENTHUSIAST!!!
  4. Dude... Baddoo what?
  5. And hit the upper deck with it. As someone said previously... he doesn't hit cheap HR's. I think he'll be an extra-base machine in Comerica. Lots of doubles and HR's...
  6. If he can squeeze into 2022 based on - circumstances - fine. But after 2022 it's time for the Tigers and Boyd to part ways.
  7. I have no interest in Boyd for 2 more years.
  8. I don't think he'll get what he wants coming back from TJ. Just my opinion but... I believe his best bet is to take a 1-year deal, finish the year strong and prove that he's worth a contract of a few years at big money... and get that in the 2022 offseason. I don't think he'll get those offers this offseason. In effect, he'd be betting on himself. That's my guess: he goes for a 1-year $20 mill-ish (I have no clue on what his 1-year just-back-from-TJ value is...) prove-it deal and then tries to cash in big after 2022. I think the Tigers could go for that 1-year deal if that's what JV ends up pushing for...
  9. My first guess would be no. Let him rehab and then make a decision at that point what to do with him... If he hasn't already resolved that himself...
  10. I think they start the season with Mize-Skubal-Manning in the rotation. Now, you're talking about filling the #4 to #6 (Toledo) spots in the rotation. If you sign someone like Verlander, and expect him to take over the #3 slot and push Manning to the #4 spot... well, there's that. I'm for it because not only do I believe JV will come back strong, but I also think he's a huge on-the-field teacher for the Young 3, especially Manning. "See, this is how I do it, now you try the same thing.". That could be approach, video review, mechanics, pitch selection, sequencing, whatever... I'm all for signing JV. With or without JV, our internal prospects for the 4th-6th spots include Fulmer (if they want to try him again in the rotation), Alexander (has shown he can do it), Wentz (showed well in Erie before the TJ and should be back to full strength in 2022, pushing for the 5th spot), and then who else is under contract for 2022? I don't think Urena, Peralta, or Teheran are. So you would have to sign them. But if JV is signed, then anyone you're signing has too be able to take over the 5th spot OR pitch in Toledo, however that shakes out in Spring Training. Do we give Boyd a shot if he does his rehab, with the Tigers if he wants to, and is ready by June-ish? Or do we just move on? I'd like to count on Turnbull being a part of the rotation as well, but I believe that's a 2023 issue not a 2022 issue...
  11. You'll have to talk to Mr. Avila to convey that...
  12. One last point... If we lose out on Correa, etc., or decide not to spend money there... We can take a look at who signs them - let's say the Yankees go big and sign Correa - and then see if they have a prospect they'd be willing to move. On that basis, do we have interest in the Yankees top SS prospect Oswald Peraza (only if the Yanks sign a big $$$ FA SS) and, would the Yankees be willing/ what would it take to trade for him?
  13. I'd say Brice Turang but how the heck could we convince the Brewers to trade him? Don't see it.
  14. Oh that works! Sort of like He Who Shall Not Be Named...
  15. They also have 49 wins this year so... I'm thinking they'll want both quantity and quality. I'm guessing it wouldn't be difficult to make them an offer they couldn't refuse (Dan Cabrera, Gage Workman plus Austin Bergner... just to spitball... which is probably way too much, but goes towards my point that...).
  16. The guy you want to chase at SS on that basis is Geraldo Perdomo of Arizona, who just drafted Jordan Lawlar. I'd prefer Perdomo over Kim. He hit AAA this year and 13 PA's in MLB...
  17. I can't quite seem to pick up on TFG... Might be obvious but... explain?
  18. I like mine better... Disabled List. Usually when I'm going initials I use DJT but Dear Leader I always spell out... that must have thrown me off a bit... Actually when I use initials, it's DMFT.
  19. Not to say that "GOP leadership" is currently brain-dead but... yeah.
  20. DL = ... ? Disabled List?
  21. And willing to use violence to attain their goals; and willing to overthrow the Constitution of the United States of America to install their Dear Leader. Fascism.
  22. Does that reduce the MAGA Republican voting population by 10%? That could be a good thing...
  23. The Dolphins are very interested in Decker as well... Unless they overwhelm us with an offer, I say no on Decker. Agree if we get anything better than a 7th for Collins then Holmes is a genius.
  24. Yeah... If I start another 2022 MLB Draft thread, I don't need to put any more "GREEN'er on the TANK side" or "FUBAR for KUMAR" qualifiers on it. We've moved beyond that. Just a straight-up, boring, 2022 Draft thread. Same with 2023... we're done with that.
