    If it's a big contract... Correa is the only guy I'm interested in. Not Seager or Semien. Story on a shorter contract. If that doesn't work, then I guess we do Plan C and squeeze Kreidler in there...

    I prefer if throwing with just a yard to do the shotgun with a 3-receiver strong side... left or right I don't care. But that way it's easy to spring someone open for short yardage, rather than throwing to the ground/ receiver with that much distance/ time that the defender can get in and break it up.

    Yeah... I don't think we're going to see a whole lot of that this year... And I'm not going to worry about it actually. I think instead I just want to see lots of progress by McNeil, Onwuzurike, Melifonwu, Barnes, Parker, Price, Bryant, Okwara, etc...

    How short/ inexpensive of a contract does Story get this year? He had a bad year. But what if that means we could get him for 2 or 3 years? Let's say 3/$60? I would do that on the same basis as having Schoop for the next 2 years... A pretty good stopgap that makes the young kids actually "push" the starter out of their job, without just handing a spot to them.

    I did an early 2022 Mock Draft... I purposefully avoided QB. Not because I definitely felt Goff was our QB for the next 10 years but, rather... I just wanted to really build up this team as much as possible. And figured QB could wait until 2023. Derek Stingley, CB at #2 (yeah, I know, shoot me...), then different variations of WR, LB'er, Safety, depth RB, etc...

    BTW: Goff looks much better this game. As does the Offense. He may not be Stafford... but he is functional enough to score points.

    We knew this before the season started. D-Line looks decent, with some upside. But the LB'ers were always going to be this year's downfall. The faster Barnes can get up to speed the better for the D...
