  1. That is an extremely gray area... That I'd rather not be in their hands (the mullahs) to play and toy around with us and the rest of the world. This is my suggestion. To as quickly as possible remove Tehran's hold over the Strait of Hormuz by creating alternative shipping routes. Fast. Having to deal with a brainless MF'ing DEUCHEBAG like Trump might push someone into behaving irrationally in response. I mean... they are shutting Hormuz down RIGHT NOW because of Trump... Right? And it is most definitely affecting the world in debilitating ways in which... we don't even know what those end results are yet... And... Trump is promising to make it worse. Of course.
  2. Right from the profile you've quoted: "He gets beaten inside more than you want to see from a three-year SEC starter, and the arm length from the combine helps explain why. For his size, the arms are shorter than expected, which shrinks his margin for error on hand placement and makes his technique inconsistencies more costly. Footwork and pad level flash at times but rarely come together for a full game outside of that Georgia performance. The weight questions are fair, too. His pass protection tracked directly with when he got below 360, and teams will want to know the 352-pound version reports to camp." Also (same profile): "Lateral redirect is his most exploitable issue; once committed to a direction, his mass works against him on counters." ... "Zone blocking looks shaky on tape; takes poor angles to second-level targets and loses track of linebackers." I thought I saw an "Effort" mention somewhere but haven't yet located it. But there are specific problems technique-wise that are huge no-no's for the Lions... I'm just going to guess here... That any connection of Proctor to the Lions is a pre-draft smokescreen if the original source is someone in the Lions camp... I don't believe he's a schematic or football personality fit with the Lions. Maybe the "effort-level" was tied to him having too much weight and pad level too often being high (from getting tired of keeping the pad level low...?) Here's Lance Zierlein: "slants and quick first steps beat him to the spot in the run game. ... He struggles to mirror athletes in space and lacks the range to protect deeper pocket drops against speed. Inconsistency in pass protection hasn’t helped his draft standing." More Zierlein: Indecisive and inefficient when defender isn’t in front of him. Cross-faced by slants and short-area movement. Does too much catching and not enough punching. Early gate opener with weight drifting too far outside. Struggled staying mirrored to inside moves and counters. Limited pass-set range will limit quarterback’s drop depth. Needs to stabilize playing weight to dial in balance/quickness. I'm reading "Draft Bust" on Proctor. I want NO part of him. Just my 2 cents.
  3. This could be like watching the JV team!!!
  4. Those two are plusses... But I think his "football personality" is a MAJOR turnoff for both DC and Holmes... We'll see... Maybe they got to know him better and are convinced he is dedicated to the game in a way that they believe in him, as CC is saying... They have passed on physical freaks before that didn't love the game enough though... specifically Jalen Carter with the Eagles (or was it because he went to Georgia instead of Alabama...? HAH!!!)
  5. That's my favorite off of that album.
  6. On this, I am 100% in agreement with...
  7. That's the positive... from the US side... The negative I am alluding to is from the International side. All Iran has to do is say: "We are shutting down the Hormuz" and markets will know what that means and go through whatever crash/ correction it's in the mood for at that time. That is a heavy sledgehammer that Iran holds, not just against the US but the WORLD. I'm trying to say this in a way that you pick up on it because it seems you keep missing this particular point. It's not only oil. A massive amount of Nitrogen goes through Hormuz. That's farming. And it affects almost the entire world's food production. I have no idea of percentages... But it's enough to scare the rest of the world outside the US. In fact, the US is one of the most insulated countries in the world against these shenanigans and yet we are STILL affected deeply, even though we have our OWN Oil & Gas and Fertilizer and oil by-products industry. Shutting the Hormuz means shutting off Oil, Gasoline, LNG, Diesel, grease and other oil-by-products, Nitrogen (farming fertilizer), and did I hear Helium production too? This is what brings the World economy, not just the US, down to its knees. And Iran has just found out how big of a sledgehammer it actually holds. Israel offered to develop transit pipelines to its ports... Saudi Arabia, Qatar & the Emirates & others... better find alternative pathways to get their products out to the world bypassing Hormuz... and quick. Kuwait may be in a screwed position.
  8. Plus his State Trouper has been covered quite a few times and it sounds great. IE: Cowboy Junkies: "Mr. State Trooper, PLEEEASE don't stop me, PLEEEEASE..." PS: Listen to this live (Cowboy Junkies version) to appreciate the deepest, bluesiest sounding band I've ever heard. If you like the blues that is...
  9. I'm OK with some Springsteen, especially early stuff, but not much more than that. But the one album that I REALLY like from Bruce is Nebraska. Very somber, very quiet acoustic, very intense emotionally. It sinks in DEEP and the music is beautiful... IMO.
  10. The problem with Proctor is that he is NOT a Lions/ DC/ Holmes type of player. IMO. Effort level ebbs and flows, and that's a no-no with this Lions Admin. Maybe it's not an issue and CC is correct... But I am guessing he is not on this one...
  11. And the umpire can still "call it": 1) ABS flashes on-screen an "S" or a "B" and the umpire simply calls it out, per the ABS. 2) If a batter swings and misses, umpire calls it a strike even if the ABS screen flashes a "B". 3) Umpire gets to decide if a batter has checked his swing in time or not, which can also be appealed to the line umpires which can overturn the home plate umpire's call if necessary. If Ump decides batter HAS checked his swing, he calls it by the ABS, which STILL can either be an "S" or a "B" (a checked swing does NOT overrule ABS..). Anything else related to ABS balls and strikes specifically...?
  12. I think they may have finally become embarrassed at the EMBARRASSMENT that they voted in to office. just my opinion... But I think a not-insignificant percentage will stay out of the next vote, and possibly two votes. They finally realized that all Trump & the Republicans want to do is to F them up the wazoo so they can line their pockets with tax cuts for themselves. They give no ****s whatsoever to the working class. They were no-shows yesterday, and will continue to no-show (IMO) in the next election rounds (unwilling to vote for a DEM... some are too ingrained with that hatred)... I think that's part of the recent elections domination by the Democrats. No-shows (at least a percentage) by that portion of MAGA that realized they ****ed up "royally".
  13. Reparations? It is WAY, way worse than that. Iran is now seeing how they can bring the entire world's economy to its knees. They have threatened this before... But now forced into this "opportunity" by Trump attacking them - with ZERO planning whatsoever, with NO game plan, NO end game plan - they get to see in real time just exactly what kind of trump card they hold over Drumpf and the world's head... It's four aces up their sleeve. Exposed for all the world to see. And I'll bet that Donny two-year-old and his little temper tantrum can't even see it.
  14. They really are walking the swords edge...
  15. Less than good start: giveaway... breakaway... Owen Tippett beats Gibson 1-on-1. 1-0 Flyers.
  16. Drumpf has GIVEN Iran a "trump card" (so to speak...): Iran has a new demand to end the war – and it could bring in billions Brainless MF'er. We have the most IGNORANT President in the history of ALL HUMANKIND. The dumbest president EVER!!! We've never SEEN such a dumb ****ing president. Nothing but a MASSIVE LOSER!!! Right Naziholic?
  17. Nest summer (if he stays with MSU...) Thanks!
  18. Nice...! But Detroit grabbing two points this game is even more important... IMO. They need wins...
  19. Don't they have to sign Augustine this summer or he's a free agent?
  20. From 2018 through 2023-24 season: 2,335 3 PT shots, 891 made = 38.2%. I think that's still in there... Somewhere.
  21. Yeah... I know that's bad... But he seems a bit more athletic, maybe age (27 versus 31) is an advantage there... a bit more defensively, a bit more of a playmaker/ passer than Duncan. And he shot 39-ish percent his first 5, even 6 seasons in the NBA. And then went very inconsistent after that point. So is he really a 29% shooter...? Or is he really a 39% shooter that struggled for crappy teams the past 1 1/2 years? I don't know the answer to that. I'm asking what other's impressions are? Is he more athletic? A better defender? A better ball-handler/ passer/ playmaker? But lastly, to your point (and probably most importantly as per your comment): Can he fix his 3-point shot? Teeny tiny sample size: 5 for his last 10.
  22. Since you've got Cochrane and Gehringer: Add Greenberg and Schoolboy Rowe...
  23. OLD School: Hank Greenberg or Harry Heilmann. Or to give Cobb some company: Wahoo Sam Crawford or Hughie "Ee-Yah!" Jennings... (Actually, Heilmann qualifies there too...)
  24. Next question: Who would be the better starter: Huerter, or Duncan? They each have some positives over the other one...
  25. That's a lot more than I would expect from... MAGA Villages (at least as I know of it...).
