And... He'll get better.

On Torrence... Lions want heavy movement from their Guards... Torrence may not have fit there. I don't know TBH... But... Rankings mean squat... it's fit that's key. DJ Turner? Meh... Now, Rashee Rice... would have looked really good as our current #3 WR... But I can live with Hooker. No doubt in my mind.

Hooker looks fine enough IMO... He'll get better... Although that was a pretty crappy overthrow...

QUESTION: Is Lakeland an interesting team to follow right now? Yes or No? To Whit (Currently on the Roster): Jose De La Cruz (Big $$$ International signing in 2018 for $1.85 mill) - 22 y.o. OF'er in Low-A (3rd straight year) w/ a .234 BA and a .704 OPS in the minors. Not very interesting. Unless he turns into a late-bloomer but, so far, nothing yet to be excited about... Cristian Santana (Big $$$ International signing in 2021 for $2.95 mill) - 20 y.o. SS/3B in Low-A (3rd straight year) w/ a .195 BA and a .750 OPS in the minors. TURRIBLE!!! Unless he turns into a late-bloomer, so far though, not enough (hit tool) yet to be encouraged about (draws a huge amount of walks so .380 OBP (drew 3 BB's in 4 PA's today) and has shown power with 37 HR's and 40 doubles in 1175 PA's...? But... where's the hit tool? Can't make it at higher levels with this low of a hit tool...). Franyerber Montilla (Big $$$ International signing in 2022 for $500K) - 19 y.o. SS in Low-A (just started) w/ a .273 BA and a .857 OPS in the FCL. Too early to be on anyone's radar IMO, but... an interesting guy to keep an eye on? Nomar Fana (International signing in 2019 for (bargain price...?)) - 19 y.o. in Low-A (just started) w/ a .291 BA and a .943 OPS in the FCL. Too early to be on anyone's radar IMO, but... an interesting guy to keep an eye on? Clayton Campbell - He's from New Zealand so that's interesting... but otherwise, 20 y.o. 1B'man in Low-A w/ a .205 BA and a .667 OPS in the minors. Not enough to be interested in unless ya wanna follow a Kiwi to see how he fares... CJ Weins is interesting in that he's the big arm guy from the Red Sox we got for Kelly. Big arm, but not a lot of control... but with our pitching developmental staff maybe they can turn him into something... that would be interesting...! So far in the Detroit Org: 23 y.o. 6'3" 225 # RH'er, 9 1/3 Inn's, 5 Hits, 6 BB's (4 in one outing & 2 in another, o/w 4 "clean" outings with no BB's at all...), 1 run and 18 K's. Hmmm... THAT's interesting!!! (At least a little...) Zack Lee was an undrafted FA in 2023 (basically like a 21st draft pick since the draft now ends at 20 rounds): 23 y.o 6'4" 200# RH'er this year in Low-A: 3.08 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 9.7 K's/9, 1.9 BB's/9... At least interesting enough to keep an eye on...?

Brodric Martin has 3 tackles a QB hit and 1/2 sack already... but somehow I haven't picked him up yet on-screen (watching a New York channel and they are saying NADA about any of the Lions so I can barely pick up who is doing what...). Oh, they did mention it was Brandon Joseph with that INT for some reason (don't know what they were thinking... Joseph ain't a Giant...).
-
Hooker better pick things up FAST...! 'Cause Sudfeld belongs nowhere on the field except standing next to Goff on the sidelines with a clipboard...

November 1st Headline: "TRUMP SPEAKS!!!" "I know no one has seen me in the past 6 weeks. Well, I'm tired, I quit. I'm getting too old for this crap anyways. I hate this democracy bull**** anyways. I'm going to spend more time with my beloved wife Ivana and beloved son Duke and just eat cheeseburgers and fries from now on."
-
And if all he turns out to be, is... a backup QB... Well, then isn't that why we drafted him? (Not directed at you MC but to the general audience...) He's a rookie trying to adjust from college ball to the NFL... He's EXACTLY where I would expect him to be on the developmental curve...
-
As a middle reliever... sure. He actually did OK the first 5 innings yesterday with 6 base runners and 2 ER's... Then gave up 6 base runners in the 6th... So is he really good the 1st time through an order and then falls apart the 2nd time through...? That would put him in the Faedo/ Brieske range... which still has its MLB usefulness....

They're stooooopid and have no idea which direction to take. Everything that they've tried so far just makes them look MORE STOOOOOPID. "The Fascist Moron and Couch Weirdo" ticket...
-
Too much funds diverted to legal bills. HAH!!!
-
For the first 5 innings he scattered 4 baserunners with no runs and I think 3 K's. 4 (total) singles and walks in the 6th inning did him in.

Freep article I read this morning said Meadows lost the ball which is why he stopped. I would love if he could pick back up 2B so he could be OF/2B like Vierling is OF/3B. But I keep reading that he had the throwing YIPS at 2B so he's not going back there. Has anyone ever gotten over a case of the "yips" and gone back to their position after the recovery...?

"Coach Walz versus Couch Weirdo". Has a beautiful ring to it...
-
Well... That's not really rope-a-dope either... Short on weapons = slowly losing ground... Have weapons = Turn the tables. It's a simple problem of adequate supplies, I would think...
-
Well they made an incursion into Russia-proper (see above) so it seems a little more explicit than rope-a-dope... I'm just expecting more details...

If Israeli Intelligence forecasted Sinwar taking over for an eliminated Haniyah, major sharp prediction. Israel will literally be able to do what they want in Gaza. Sinwar is unacceptable to most of the rest of the world. I'm not saying Netanyahu is... just that Israel made a major move that worked perfectly in their favor. WTF is Hamas thinking?

I think neither one of us used /s so it may have gone over both our heads... No need for any chilling out as I was just picking on a specific word in the definition... and PS: I'm ALWAYS throwing in all-caps in here and there not necessarily as "excitable" but more along the lines of: "here's the key emphasis". (See what I did there... 😉) I'm presenting nothing as a fact... the correct term would be "conjecture." We'll see if my "conjecture" about the Tigers 2025 season is more accurate than your "conjecture" about the state of my delusions... 😁

Do you have evidence that anything I've said is untrue? Remember: I'm talking about the future, not historicals ("in the books..."). Because if you don't have EVIDENCE, you are incorrect.

Is there also a "Scream" emoji...? Does that exist...? Another one to add to the pile...
-
Not looking forward to this but, after the trade deadline, it appears we are "once more into the breach". Another top 10 draft pick for the Tigers next year (we are currently in the #8 spot). I'll update as we get closer towards the end of the season... and then there's also the lottery... I'm calling this "Last Chance" because I fully expect the Tigers to be in the Playoffs next year... or DAMN NEAR to making the playoffs. IN is better than "near miss" though, obviously... I'd like next year to be our last chance Top 10 pick for a "long, long, long time"... We shall see.

I don't know whether to laugh at this, cry, or just be really, really sad. I can't decide which emoji to use...

Trump is gonna lose badly... Writing's on the wall... So it's time for all the sycophantic rat's to break or jump ship...
