  1. PS: You know that Hamas controls the flow of information coming out of Gaza, right? From the Palestinian perspective. Those stats that you posted... Are PROPAGANDA, directly from HAMAS. You know this, right?
  2. That's a flat out lie. Those numbers were supplied by Hamas, weren't they. 14,000 of those killed were terrorists. And they use kids to transport weapons and ammunition through there terrorist tunnels. How many of those children were IN tunnels when killed? Misleading as ****.
  3. If Establishment Republicans stick with this horse**** then they are dead to me too. They had 4 years and Jan 6th to figure out just exactly what kind of scumbag corrupt fascist POS this guy is. He is speaking loudly and clearly that he is going to be even worse if there's a next time. If moderate Republicans do NOT vote in massive droves for Biden... then they are ****ing dead to me too. I can't ****ing stand this. Watching this country descend into a cesspool of bigotry and violence, fascism and abject stupidity. WTF America?

  5. Children and God Emperor were outstanding. Very complex though... and he starts going into a deep dive in Jungian philosophy... The dialogue starts getting very thick and opaque... so I can see where it loses people... And no... I don't believe Lucas ever cottoned to the cribbing...
  6. That actually is the theme of his last 3 Dune novels, not Dune. God Emperor of Dune. Heretics of Dune. Chapterhouse Dune.
  7. Dumping most of the vets means to all these new kids coming in: "Get stops, and make your shots = more minutes". Very simple message to everyone on the team. Starter vs. bench shouldn't even matter. Come off the bench, get stops, make your shots, get more minutes. Competition will be fun to watch at least, for the rest of this season.
  8. The flipside is that if your corners suck so bad that they can't cover anyone, a good QB is going to be able to find a receiver and hit him. The pressure won't matter. Gotta have CB's at least good enough to allow the pressure time enough to convert the sack. At least a few times in a game... Obviously that doesn't work every single pass play. But in my mind, gotta have both. Coverage good enough to force a QB to hold onto the ball too long... and good enough pass-rush to not only just get pressure, but close the deal (sack) often enough to make a difference (and also have the ability to contain and not lose QB's for 10-15-25 yard runs...).
  9. The one thing on that: I don't know if anyone else would think the same... But Weaver came out and said getting Grimes was the equivalent of a 1st rounder to them. (PS: He was a 1st rounder, 1-25 by the Knicks in 2021...).
  10. The difference being defense obviously. Hronek with the +32 and Gost with a -20
  11. Are there any stretch-4's at the top of the 2024 Draft? I'd like one. Puts Stew firmly on the bench as 6th man. And if he can actually play defense and stretch the floor and do other nice things... Might really be a big boost for this team next season. Coupled with Cade-Ivey-Duren-Ausar-Sasser growing, and all these young hungry 3&D 20-somethings that Weaver just got... Maybe, just maybe, we could have some hope for next season...?
  12. I'm guessing they thought his uptick was real. But that they were selling high (a 1st and a 2nd for Hronek?)... AND... They were avoiding a costly 2023+ contract. They selected Pellikka and Brady Cleveland with those picks, a couple defenseman... I say it was a good trade. Despite how Hronek is currently playing...
  13. This is the only thing that needs to be stated...
  14. Ewsieg would have us believe otherwise. Nefarious intent.
  15. Pun intended.
  16. I thought the Red Wings played tonight? Not until tomorrow? Did I lose track of a game...? And... YEESH, what's with the long as **** wait between the AS break and this next game? What crappy scheduling.
  17. I'm taking it as since he is NOT being charged, by a political hack 100% against him... That therefore I do NOT need to defend him. Fait accompli.
  18. Too bad he wasn't thinking exactly that when Haliburton was sitting right there.
  19. Sure, of course. But the challengers will be SIGNIFICANTLY higher than this year, 2024. Amiright? And not because of race. But because this year it's an incumbent President, versus "only" an incumbent VP. If Harris goes all the way in 2028, her challengers in 2032 as an incumbent will look a lot like this year's: next to nothing, or nobodies.
  20. MTU wins. On logic. And reality. Get back to us in 2028 for the next Dem candidate for President. That one will be wide open, not this one. I'll add in Buttigieg's hat to the ring as well.
  21. Biden's documents supposedly had clearance to be in his book, at least on a reference basis. Which is why he had them in the first place. Whether they included an incorrect document or not, was in Hur's report. Trump's intentions were otherwise. Also, the degree of cooperation was, ummm, vastly different. NOT the same between these two instances. Period.
  22. The whataboutism gets ridiculous sometimes. I get it, Dems also need to be held accountable. But looking at a molehill, and a mountain, and asking "aren't these the same" is, well, actually, a bit comical.
  23. That will be a LOT easier after Biden's 8 years than it is right now, today. It's just a reality. I can live with 8 years of Biden. He is quietly effective. He's doing all the right things (even if it isn't perfect and there are grumblings.) I understand the desire for fresh blood/ fresh ideas/ fresh face... But the drop from Biden to Trump, versus another Dem candidate to Biden, is so precipitous that personally (ME, MYSELF and I) won't even CONTEMPLATE (yes.. I needed to use all-caps there in both instances... as in: it's not just that I won't even contemplate another Dem candidate... but rather, I won't even CONTEMPLATE...) any other Dem Candidate. Just my 2 cents.
  24. No, he wants North Korea. He wants ALL the money to go to him. He would love to kill whoever he wants to. He LOVES Kim Jong Un's setup in NK. Absolute power. Absolute control over all of the money. Maduro has that in Venezuela too. Don't kid yourself. That is EXACTLY what Trump wants.
