My Dad is a bama alum. I'll pass along the strong review. He went there in the 1940s after WWII with all the returning vets so he probably was dealing with bare minimums for housing. KU is 500 miles from home in northern VA so we are hoping that is as far as she wants to go. We are also looking at Colorado State and Oregon for her program but probably only can tour one of those two.

KU compared to Louisville is like comparing something from HGTV after a remodel to my barracks in 1987 in a 100 year old building in Baumholder, Germany.

I'll be on the Bloomington campus of IU today for my daughter's campus tour. I'll report back on hubris and whatnot. I want to like today because they have a good program for her major.
