    A neighbor girl went to Tennessee and this very dark skinned Indian girl came back as a blond. She was already one in her mind and disposition so, it merely affirmed her identity.

    KU seems closest to a B1G school of the ones I've seen so far. I saw a prof in the cafeteria who had that older Ann Arbor prof look (i.e., wildly curly gray hair, austerely thin, button up shirt and dress pants from the 1980s). I was like...if we were looking at zillow of his house we'd see mid century modern, african art, musical instruments, kitchen needs an upgrade.

    Sororities are prob not my daughter's interest. The importance of them in southern university culture also a neg for any of these SEC campuses for her. But, you never know.

    My Dad is a bama alum. I'll pass along the strong review. He went there in the 1940s after WWII with all the returning vets so he probably was dealing with bare minimums for housing. KU is 500 miles from home in northern VA so we are hoping that is as far as she wants to go. We are also looking at Colorado State and Oregon for her program but probably only can tour one of those two.

    We did Kentucky yesterday. That dorm tour was best seen to date. Also a lovely campus. My one critique. The coke zero was out in the cafeteria. I'll pass along any strong thoughts on dorms. KU compared to Louisville is like comparing something from HGTV after a remodel to my barracks in 1987 in a 100 year old building in Baumholder, Germany.

    I'll be on the Bloomington campus of IU today for my daughter's campus tour. I'll report back on hubris and whatnot. I want to like today because they have a good program for her major.

    One can only imagine the upheaval. My father is 97 and is a citizen by birth to an immigrant mother and father. Several Trump children also fall into that category.

    Trump is sayng he's actually going to go to the US Supreme Court tomorrow for this That will be interesting. You know an amendment is sort of a big deal. It means that the popular will was to ratify that amendment. Him saying things are just so does not countermand an amendment.

    This story is really...the Gerald Ford had a massive fire that it couldn't put out because damage control has gone to **** in the Trump/Kegbreath Navy.
