  1. Concerning. I hope he gets to play. They need to do the needful to avoid forfeit.
  2. We took a long time to get Bin Ladin….eventually we did
  3. One of the non-political gun blogs I read had letters to the guys who review guns to do a review of "best guns for the apocalypse" and they mentioned the entire story behind Boogaloo. That it was to be Civil War 2. This was about a year before you would see this in reference to 2020 protests. Meanwhile, it was a joke with my friends for decades that any sequel of any franchise would be an effort to break dance in order to win a contest prize that would save the "youth center". Why can't lame things remain lame and not be turned to evil?
  4. I realize now that bragging about my dinner last night might have come across as trolling. I'm sorry to anyone thus offended.
  5. I had to shred my own lettuce for taco night last night. Oh the humanity!
  6. Morality rate is really the one statistic that matters for [insert sport noun]
  7. Ironically “ignore” functions like a vaccine
  8. Lots of trolling going on.
  9. North Korea is the “most Communist” country unless you want to go with Cuba. Both, fail their citizens. Random liberal corporate America is in no ways as bad. Grow up, comrade troll.
  10. The ghost of Freedom past present and future should visit you
  11. Nobody knows. We’ve been dissatisfied this far at every turn (except Georgia going for Biden)
  12. I read Rally Monkey too!
  13. Its worth shouting from the rooftop for sure.
  14. Not to get all Christmasy at this inopportune time, but the very interesting podcast "The Rest is History" which is two brit history profs going all in depthy on various history topics did a recent one about the Dickensian London of "A Christmas Carol" which was very interesting. Lots of discussion of the politics of Dickens. Which were very Thatcher/H.W. Bush/Peggy Noonan-y. Instead of raising everyone out of poverty, the upper middle class should get everyone a turkey at Christmas. Good behavior by the people who have is the solution to suffering. I can see how that would have appealed broadly to a large British and American middle class who could buy magazines for serialized novels.
  15. German and Austrian cops will remind you of their grandfathers. German engineering to me means: "how can we make this super complicated?"
  16. That is some Teutonic missing of the point for sure. I'm sure in the version they show in Germany, in Christmas past a Von Scrooge is a Luftwaffe bomber pilot just returned from laying waste to Rotterham or Warsaw
  17. Is this a problem for anyone? Universal Studios charges extra for a "premium park experience" and yet movies tend to be repetitive CGI crapola.
  18. I might -- if time allows -- start a novel about the Totinos SNL commercial characters and how the Kristen Stewart character (Michael's) and the Vanessa Bayer character (Hobby Lobby) have a meet cute in the parking lot when Kristen's Mini Cooper accidentally hits Vanessa's Honda Odyssey mini-van. Kristen needs to get some paint for her project for her Gender History seminar at the university and Vanessa was looking for some devotional art to help her deal with the frustrating feeling that there might be something lacking in her marriage. Its basically going to be "Overboard" but I don't know which character will suffer the amnesia and be manipulated by whom. Its shooting fish in a barrel to have the conservative character see how her world could be so much bigger if she just stopped listening to talk radio, etc. But, might be more amusing to see Kristen Stewart go into the world of Mega churches, MAGA, et.al., and see how she emerges.
  19. As is chik fil a
  20. Just got done shopping at Michael's arts and crafts and Hobby Lobby which in our town are in the same shopping center. Michael's was filled with hot, complicated women with active minds. They likely paint or do whatever sort of art as a way to deal with the dynamics of their relationships or psychodramatic upbringings. Hobby Lobby filled with endomorphic Karens who have lots of word art in their homes in which they keep for their husbands in law enforcement who like her to keep quiet during the game.
  21. I await it with interest.
  22. Awful. Man...that totally stinks.
