    This was a good ending to a screwy, but delightful season. Respectable again. Next season: World Series.

    Dudes probably had one guy with an actual loaded weapon. The stories of moose in Alaska terrorizing entire companies of the Army guys up there because they go on exercises without live rounds. The one guy with a gun is to ensure that nobody steals all their weapons.

    Day going very well up to this point. Daughter makes killer game saving play in softball. Son makes Eagle Scout. Michigan wins big where not expected. Dog back from weird joint surgery and back in the fold. Come on boys. Lets get back at this.

    I picked up randomly the Andy Van Slyke “tell all” about the 2008 season. wow is interesting to read in light of that team having such high expectations and only winning 74 games. This season brought so much extra joy because it was such a bonus to have competitive baseball if not championship caliber baseball back.

    The Briggs era Tigers were not much better. That legacy has taken a bit of time to clean up under Mr. I who genuinely seemed to be "racially, pretty cool" to quote The dude.

    Yeah, its not April 2021. its the final week of a season that has to be a resounding success even if we are undermanned and a bit winded at this point. Give AJ and Fetter and Nieves the resources and we can wild card or get the division next year.
