Where I was the cops were on scene too. Its planned and organized. The protest has marshals who wear vests and make sure nobody is getting to crazy.

I spoke to a woman for over an hour whose dad was an Air Force officer and she and i were fixated on how the system used to have rules. You abided by them and you could have a career even if you were a Dominican Republic immigrant as her dad was. Spoke to a buckeye fan and commiserated about the angst we had on the day of The Game and how we felt that way all the time now but in a bad way. Spoke to a bunch of vets. Had another long chat with a dude about Andor (see the Nemik quote poster above “Opression is the mask of fear”)

There is an interesting note about the "bad british food" trope. I was watching a video on food rationing in Britain during the war and then for nearly 10 years after WWII. Of course you are going to lock in some bland food choices if you don't have options. People who are jonesing for some jam or butter for their bread or a few ounces of chocolate per week are not going to have extravagant cuisine. Laterly, there have been a lot of foodie types in the UK because it became like any other over-done middle class eccentric thing. David Mitchell referred to them as anorak trainspotters who just turned the trainspotting to food.

The sense of fellowship and organization is so positive. So many people I talked to today were expressing inbetween raw emotion and coherent and long thought out discourses so many different ideas. Keep it up!

So, I did this at the last minute before i left the house. There were a lot of people who liked the Kegbreath thing.

Umpire is checked for protocol. foul down rf side. reaches out to outside corner to flare a foul ball down lf side. ball low. (Seemed noncompetitive but maybe closer than i thought) base hit scores two. My impressions are that he's Kirk Gibson levels of mental toughness and insane bat/ball skills. Oh man that is a powerful combination.

There is some really scary economic data coming out about the refineries having been shut down in the entire gulf region. Couldn't possibly have been predicted by this government which was dragged into this war by the Israel lobby and fellow criminal Bibi.

That was a fun battle. I'm actually going to rewatch that after I return from the protest today.
