I looked up impecunious. Thanks for the new word (to me). Means following the Tigers in September 2022 hasn’t been a total waste this month so far. -

This was a farce. Position player with the fist pump after a strikeout on a 68moh pitch down by 9. Ohtani seemed to have no interest in participating in the charade. -

Tigers lost in a shutout by a big ten runs. -
Bold, Sergei, bold.
-
Why? It was a 1st down. He was down with 2 seconds to go. I think that’s time for a final snap.
-
I thought it was crazy that after that long delay to see whether or not the LSU player was inbounds, after the decision FSU calls timeout anyways.

Wild!!

44-7 midway through 4th. Advantage McCarthy, no?

Hinch was interviewed on Power Alley on Sirius XM this morning : - Manning has pitched well but needs to work on changeup to get better against left-handed hitters - Relieved to have Eduardo back obviously - Greene has made some adjustments, biggest issue now is zone control - Unsure whether Tork will be brought up or not when rosters expanded; meeting with staff on that today

That’s exactly what I did. Walked awaynin 7th, counted it as a win, then forgot about it. An hour ago remembered for check to make 100% sure, saw the final, lol. Jays got outscored 22-3 in a 3-game sweep at home to the Angels. Love to see that. -

Was there a big baserunning play at 3rd base in one of the games in Sam Francisco? I forget whether it was a Tiger getting picked off like Darrell Evans or thrown out, or a Tigers fielder dropping a ball at 3rd instead of making an easy tag. Or none of that happened at all and I’m just scrambled. -
And I'd be fine with that if Cossa had been a 2nd or 3rd round pick. But when you pick a goalie in the mid-1st round, I expect him to be an all-world monster at the junior level, even if 3 or 4 years away from the NHL.

Can’t blame those guys. You have a lifetime to watch Michigan football. But only have a few years when there are hot coeds everywhere you turn and you actually have a chance with them.

Yes I agree, now. Liked the contract for first 10 minutes after it was announced, then thought better of it.
-
Darn, I would have taken Kadri on that contract. I know it would push him to 38 years old, but still, $7mm for a player of Kadri ability should be very good value for first half of it.

Hope it was just food poisoning like Bob Mackenzie speculated. This sounds good, if it’s the latest.

And until he found out that Kim had already confessed about Howard, he seemed prepared to throw her under the bus. Not to save himself, he had already done that by negotiating it down to 7 years, but for ice cream. Still angry and frustrated by that last call with Kim and thinking she got away with everything, he was about to gratuitously stick it to her. Once he found out that she had come clean, thanks in no small part to his goading of her on that call, he knew what he had to do. Too late to repair things with Chuck even if he wanted to, too late to apologize to Howard, but not too late to gain back some respect from Kim. But I believe he would not have done so if she had not shown up to the courtroom to hear him in person.

Ahh, I didn't even realize Edvinsson also pitches for the Tigers.
