    Ned had had a couple of good games recently. On brighter note, in 15 minutes puck drops for Michigan vs Quinnipiac for a Frozen Four spot.

    This clips of highlights show what an exciting game it was. I too often skip from the McCarty-Lemieux/Vernon-Roy brouhaha right to McCarty's OT winner but almost an entire game was played in between. I almost forget 11 goals were scored.

    More than 45 years since the Fidrych MNF game vs the Yankees where my parents held my 9th birthday party for my friends in the lower deck in left. Still one of the most memorable days of my life. I spend half an hour or so every year on June 28 thinking about it.

    It's alright I guess. I didn't think we'd get a 2nd for Leddy, but we did give up a 2nd to get him. Walman and Sundqvist are dime a dozen players. Small win, IMO.

    That PK gave the Wings a big boost. They have been fine since then. 2-0 after 2.

    Wings have turned this game around, at least on the scoreboard. Hirose with the PP goal. This is his first goal with the Wings since November 23, 2019.

    Wings take a much undeserved 1-0 lead, Veleno from Larkin, just after a huge PK that included a 5 on 3 for a minute.
