Maybe the easiest win of the year. Raymond scored his 1st goal in 15 games and Rasmussen scored on a breakway, to make the final score 4-0.

Right, look how easy it is to pick up players like Fabbri or Suter or Namestikov, no great shakes who are always available any offseason. if Rasmussen or Zadina don’t prove within the next 12 months or so that they are more than dime a dozen players, they can be cut loose. Yzerman never drafted them so wont be married to them.

I actually think Raz might end up having a longer stint with the Wings in terms of seasons than Zadina.

So the Wings aren't even on the fringe of the playoffs now. 7 points back with 4 extra games played, so more like 12 or so points back. Second half of the season will be about player development.

Of all the ticky-tack goalie interference calls, i don't like the NHL rule that clearly allows the Sharks goal to stand, sliding into the goalie like that. 2-2 with 6 minutes to go in regulation

That seemed like the longest commercial break ever, until I realized there must be an issue with my NHL.com feed. Refreshed to learn the Wings had tied it on a late 2nd period Bertuzzi goal.

I went to an Internet World trade show in January 1995. Stuck around the area to interview with two companies. Both interviews were so-so, didn't really hit it off, probably could have got a job with either but was not impressed enough to push hard. First company was market research firm Frost & Sullivan. Second company was ... Yahoo.
