    I was listening on MLB on SiriusXM yesterday and the hosts' view was that Joe West shouldn't be behind the plate for any more games this year. They say his ball-strike correct rate is down around 90%, while others are in the upper 90s.

    Yes, regular season almost exclusively on Bally's. Four more preseason games between tonight and Saturday before the season opener hosting Tampa on the 14th. Not sure about TV for the rest of the pre-season, but NHL Centre Ice is still in free preview mode so I just voice search "Detroit Red Wings" and it pops up somewhere on my TV.

    Two 15-team leagues with top 6 teams in each league making it would be ideal Top two seeds in each league get bye to 2nd round. Won't happen.

    To me I see that almost like a contract dispute. I think he'll eventually get it, probably before the regular season even begins, the same way Wiggins has.

    A stat that I'm sure exists somewhere but I don't know where is what is the league-wide rate for getting in a runner from 3rd with less than outs, compared to last year, 10 years ago? Even with lower strikeout totals, I've never felt less confident when watching any game - not just the Tigers - about a 1 out runner at the corners situation resulting in at least a run.

    A great surprising turnaround but not QUITE that dramatic. Started 9-24 not 4-29. Played 85-win pace the final 129 games of the season. Yes, I agree the playoffs should be 2022 objective.

    If I understood Dan Dickerson correctly when he was going through off-season needs in the 8th inning today, he does expect that the Tigers will sign a Tier 1 pitcher.

    She had no reason for an appearance this weekend, but popping in to say hi before she flies south for the winter. Will return for even more sweeps next season.

    Everything is happening. Tigers jump ahead in 9th. Yankees have winning run at 3rd in the 9th. Red Sox have roared back to tie Washington.

    Pretty sure Alexander turned 27 in July. Alex Avila, playing in his last game ever, has just singled home two runs to put Boston in a 5-1 hole.

    Nebraska may not be a pushover. Avoid the letdown. Has played Oklahoma and MSU close the past 2 weeks and is annihilating Northwestern tonight.

    Four Big Ten East teams in top dozen or so. If Georgia stumbles, maybe BIG has as good of a chance of getting two teams into the playoff as SEC. if merit was the deciding factor, I mean.

    Michigan has to move ahead of BYU. BYU is 5-0 with no big names win, largest margin of victory has been 14, and four have been by 10:points or less
