Watching this split screen opposite to a Canada vs Mexico WC qualifier. Being played at night in Edmonton, lolol. It seems unfair, because when Latin American countries host they make conditions for visiting teams so hospitable.
Cracks me up that apart from Boys Are Back In Town, arguably the best-known song of the band from Ireland is their cover version of a song about a CKLW DJ.
Electric performances by both of them
And of course Springsteen turned the movie into the title song of his Nebraska album.
"I saw her standing on her front lawn, just a twirling, her baton ..."
That was disappointing. Thought they'd get at least a point.
That Rasmussen goal was a softie. He'll take it though.
Greiss came up big on 2nd period PKs.
I was watching but couldn't post - anyone else having trouble connecting to the site when on mobile?
No, I still think they have work to do. But if they play their way down to, say, a #12 pick instead of a #4 overall pick, I think a nice signing will make up for that. I'm not worried about their 2nd round pick being #45 instead of #35.
Chaos?
- Georgia blows out Bama in SEC title game
- MSU wins out including BiG title game
And with the two spots left:
- Michigan beats Maryland and OSU
- Cincy loses a game
- Oregon loses a game
- ND wins out
- Wake Forest wins out
- Oklahoma beats Oklahoma St in final game of Big 12 season but Oklahoma St wins rematch in Big 12 title game
That can be bridged by one star free agent signing this offseason, IMO.
You can’t build a team through free agency alone, but once you have enough of a young base you can top it up with a select high-profile signing.
