Watching this split screen opposite to a Canada vs Mexico WC qualifier. Being played at night in Edmonton, lolol. It seems unfair, because when Latin American countries host they make conditions for visiting teams so hospitable.

No, I still think they have work to do. But if they play their way down to, say, a #12 pick instead of a #4 overall pick, I think a nice signing will make up for that. I'm not worried about their 2nd round pick being #45 instead of #35.

That can be bridged by one star free agent signing this offseason, IMO. You can’t build a team through free agency alone, but once you have enough of a young base you can top it up with a select high-profile signing.
