I was picking up my daughter at the airport yesterday and a traveller noticed my Lions hoodie and started beaming. She was visiting Vancouver from Ann Arbor and said her husband has the exact same hoodie, how exciting it is to be a Lions fans these days, etc. It was a nice exchange that put smiles on the faces of both of us. Meeting fellow Lions fans in Vancouver is still rare enough that when you do, there's an immediate connection. And at my sports bar, people love to come up and chat about the Lions, as one said to me the Lions are such a great story they think it's neat to talk to a real-life, actual long-time fan as up until a couple of years ago we all tended to be in the closet, lol

Yeah I think of Lindy Ruff as being from the same coaching era as Marc Crawford and Jacques Lemaire, hard to see why he is still around. I remember Sabres already getting restless way back in 2015.
