Gun to the head I would have predicted Vikings by a FG before the game. I wouldn’t have said that a month ago. But the defense’s struggles against SF and the Vikings’ mostly comfortable win over GB unsettled me. -
Why throw a challenge? Wouldn’t you rather have some time run off clock?

Right. Get that 1st down and I’m sure sometime in the next 3 minutes or next set of downs there’d be a chance for a big play. Plus would kill clock. A potential 10-14 pt swing, just can’t afford that.
