  1. I wish college football would score it like hockey does with shootout goals. So if a game finishes 36-36 and they run it up like the graphic, only the final score would count............KC 43, Buffalo 36. One way to avoid non-stop OT rounds is to eliminate the 1 point kick.......in fact, football should get rid of the 1-point kick for good. It's boring.
  2. 1935 1945 1968 1984 2024 BOOK IT !
  3. Won't matter. No baseball in 2022. It's over. It's all over. Go Mud Hens !
  4. The Lions are more clueless than toxic. They hire the wrong people and don't recognize their mistakes fast enough. If you really want to get narrow about it, just look at their 2nd round picks through the years. That seems to be their biggest flaw.
  5. I don't know. An ex-player calling a current player a name - while it's ridiculous for a guy who is supposed to be an executive even getting in a verbal row with a player, I think by toxic it means a place where it is a bad place to work, a place ruled by intimidation, fear, humiliation and threats. Think: Washington Football team (stadium dumps raw sewage on fans, so even that is toxic). That team is a never-ending lawsuit. The Lions don't operate that way and in fact have a reputation as being a very respectful place to work. As much as I dislike Millen, I don't think he was talking that way to office personnel. We'd have heard it by now.
  6. I will update my coach predictions...........I think we will see several black coaches hired this offseason Chicago Bears - Byron Leftwich (I think he stays in the NFC) Denver Broncos - Eric Bieniemy (Colorado Buffalos star comes back home) Houston Texans - Josh McCown (what top candidate wants this dumpster fire) Jacksonville Jagquars - Jim Caldwell (Leftwich is the romantic pick, but they need an experienced stabilizer) Las Vegas Raiders - Jim Harbaugh (Josh Gattis becomes Michigan Head Coach, and not as Interim) Miami Dolphins - Josh McDaniels (Belichick ain't leaving, so waiting for that gig is pointless) Minnesota Vikings - Brian Flores (He won't be on the beach long) New York Giants - Brian Daboll (they just hired a Bills guy as GM) Kellen Moore and Todd Bowles coached themselves out of possible jobs this playoffs with head-scratching late-game decisions. QBs (not listing teams without changes) Pittsburgh Steelers - Russell Wilson Houston Texans - Kenny Pickett (poor bastard) Denver Broncos - Aaron Rodgers NY Giants - Matt Corral Green Bay Packers - Sam Howell Carolina Panthers - Jimmy Garoppolo Seattle Seahawks - Jameis Winston (drafts Desmond Ridder) Atlanta - Drafts Malik Willis, but he doesn't start
  7. You can't have Carson Strong, Carson Wentz and Chris Carson on the same team. Too many Carsons. Fire Ausmus.
  8. The Bills-Chiefs reminded me of the first night game at Michigan Stadium vs. Notre Dame.
  9. Because on a squib kick the kicking team can recover the ball after 10 yards (someone tell the Falcons that and in order to make a fair catch you have to catch it on the fly, don't you?
  10. For a bunch of teams that had successful seasons, there were some horrible coaching mistakes.
  11. Buffalo fans don't get their heart broken, they get it sliced up with a box cutter while someone pours rubbing alcohol in the wounds, kicks them in the groin and forces them to watch their house burn down
  12. This is a different sport than the ones the Lions and Bears play.
  13. Hey...............KC still has 13 seconds
  14. OH MY FUCKINGI GOD...........................THIS WEEKEND IS INSANE !
  15. It's all scripted, isn't it?
  16. You really couldn't ask for 4 more entertaining games than the ones this weekend.
  17. A lot of time still left for KC to get down the field. Josh Allen is fantastic
  18. Wow, how does a receiver get that open? (Buffalo game)
  19. I thought Chris Spielman was pretty good. Romo just has to fill every vacant second with blather and that fire-alarm tone of his. I am sure many of you remember Kirk Gibson's Game 5 8th inning home run that gave the Tigers the 4 run lead...........As soon as Gibby hit the ball Vin Scully said "And there it goes" and did not speak again for 2:14. He let the pictures tell the story. That's why Vin was one of the greats. To go from Cris Collinsworth to Tony Romo in one evening............I'm gonna need me some of that Tegridy weed.
  20. Can we get a specialized MUTE button that just mutes Tony Romo?
  21. They are interview Cooper Kupp now. Wow, you talk about a career change - from Spin Doctors lead singer to this..........
  22. Todd Bowles............how do you allow any kind of play that would let Kupp be one-on-one.
  23. Holy shit..............All three games field goals were kicked with 4 seconds left in the game.................
