  1. I bought a pair of McCartney tickets in 2011 and I think the total was $78, but it was summer and the Comerica Park Box Office was open and it's not far from where I work so I bough them in person. About 5 years ago, bought a pair of Iggy Pop tickets............$88 total. My girlfriend's sister bought tickets online in the same row for her and her husband. Fees were $22 - PER TICKET. So for the same row they paid $132. Insane.
  2. By the way, if you listen to 97.1, the afternoon phone guy, Kenny Kot - He is pretty reliable on hockey over/unders..........I'm basically to just following his lead and doing really well with that.
  3. I did put a small wager on the Steelers - just in case, but the parlay pays quite a bit more and I think at 35-7 with Old Dirty Bastard at QB for Pittsburgh, I think we get the win. Not a big bet, but I keep betting 10 here or 20 there and I'm now betting with their money.
  4. All I need is s Chiefs victory for a nice little payday (I should probably throw a little something on the Steelers to hedge).
  5. Wow, the official got in the way..............LOL I enjoy a referee screwing the Cowboys in the playoffs. You reap what you sow.
  6. Well even if the Cowboys win they will only win by one. So I feel safe.
  7. This first down review in the 49ers-Cowboys game has taken 7 minutes. Ridiculous.
  8. 23-17 now. My parlay this weekend Cincinnati MONEY LINE Buffalo MONEY LINE Tampa Bay -8.5 San Francisco +3 Kansas City MONEY LINE Don't blow it SF !
  9. Was going to get a couple of Elton John tickets at Comerica Park. The advertised price was $55 each. I expect fees to be added. The fees were $48. I can afford that, no problem, but sorry, I refuse to pay that kind of fee. I just can't do it. Wouldn't even be a physical ticket. $43 Convenience Fee. What the fuck does that even mean? Convenient for whom? It's just wrong. Those kind of fees should be included in the advertised price. It should be a law. By the way, I do get free tickets to a lot of shows becsuse of radio, so maybe this has been going on for a long time. When I bought Wilco tickets for Chicago last year it was $16 in fees. Not happy with that, but I can deal with that. But $48? Not a chance.
  10. Yes, they were beating that drum hard last night. Like showing Kurt Warner's wife during the Super Bowl and Blake Griffin's parents after every basket in the tourney.
  11. Rather enjoyable. I hope Patricia gets fired again.
  12. I am sure that the Bills were reminded of the Atlanta Super Bowl because they have not let up against New England. 40-10
  13. Love watching the Bills stomp the Pats. Eat it, Patricia. Just don't let up.
  14. At least the other Buffalo team is having a good night I got a question, Was Ned's family at the game. I wasn't sure watching the broadcast.
  15. Cincinnati is going to try like hell to blow this one.
  16. Video of Lauren Boebert attempting to get gas?
  17. I disagree with that. I don't think either side cares about normal.
  18. IT'S PINE KNOB AGAIN !
  19. When I was sick earlier this week I watch 1917 on cable. What a great movie. Edge of my seat for most of it.
  20. Oilers are signing Evander Kane. Holland is so freaking bad.
  21. Yzerman just came out and said he was pleased with the progress this year. I don't think he says that and then fires the coach. Barring some kind of complete collapse (not from injuries), I think Blash will be back next year too.
  22. One thing about Raz, though, is that he does seem to create a little havoc around the net, much like Holmstrom in his first couple years, when he didn't get a lot of points. If the Wings have a couple more snipers (free agents in the next year or two)I think he makes a decent impact.
  23. Well............I didn't mind the result but they got to it too quickly.
  24. Esther Rolle left the show because of that too, but she came back for the lasts season when they promised to have a more mature JJ.
  25. I mean, think about this year. If they had Riley Patterson in Pittsburgh, that's probably a win. It took an all time record field goal that bounced off the upright, hung in the air for 11 minutes and went through to lose the Baltimore game and a Minnesota kicker beat them at the buzzer..............You know, kickers from Minnesota aren't usually clutch. This is a team that could have won 6 or maybe 7 games this year. I think if Campbell had some experience play calling before he actually tried it and they started using St. Brown as the Swiss Army Receiver a few weeks earlier they would won at least 6 games. Based on those trends, 8 is not a lot to ask for next year. I guess a lot depends on their first 5 draft picks. If 4 of them make an impact by the end of the next season, we'll be in good shape. At least they were fun at times this year. Better than that losing bland dreck we had under Brutus The Rocket Scientist.
