I just re-read In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. A non-fiction book about the American ambassador and his family living in Germany during the rise of Hitler. The parallels to what is happening here in America at this moment are astounding. How regular, ordinary people became enraptured by a beast and all that lead to. Scary times. I never thought I would live to see this in America.

Just a little reminder of how insane this all is. I just had to renew my business license. On the form, there is a part that says "Have you or any of the owners ever been convicted of a felony?" The answer was no, but I felt like writing "The current president is a 34 time convicted felon. Why does this question appear on any form anymore?" I mean, you can be president but can't run a small business if you are a felon? Absurdity.

I just bought a new car in November, thank God. This moron is going to wreck this economy and the cult will blame Biden and Clinton. Oh, and Obama. If we ever have free elections in this country again and a Democrat takes office, they will have a gigantic mess on their hands. There was a very famous documentary series in the early 70's called "The World at War" In this series they interviewed a lot of the people in Hitler's cabal along with average Germans. The scary thing is, you could hear it in some of their voices, they still loved Hitler. Even after all the death and destruction he put upon their country. Cult of personality is real scary stuff.
