It's really frustrating when you think of our seemingly never ending rebuild then you see posts like this about the Guardians who basically rebuilt on the fly after years of winning division titles.

The Yankees have hit as many HRs in the past 2 games as we have in the past 3 and a half weeks or 700 plate appearances. On the season we have 30HRs in just under 2100 or 1 HR in every 70 PAs and trending downward, for reference Jose Iglesias for his career is 1 for every 85. At our current rate we could be to Iglesias' HR rate by the end of the month.

Perhaps we need to find our own Slippin Jimmy and Kim Wexler to come up with some schemes to embarrass Chris so bad and ruin his reputation enough that it almost forces him to sell the team!

Rangers tie it up late only for the Lightning to respond with the eventual game winner like 20 seconds later. I'm sure Rangers fans will be bitching about that go ahead goal being interference for the whole offseason.
-
That's sweet! I wonder if they did other things like this that have gone unnoticed? Like when the Yankees were in town show a Yankee fan that is looking down on his luck and put something like "That feeling when you realize your team has never beat the Tigers in the playoffs before."
-
Judge is now at 24 on the season, we're currently stuck at 30.
-
Yankees have hit more HRs in their 30 PAs today than we have in our last 440.

Took a walk in the park today and there were a couple graduation parties going on in the pavilions. Seeing that always brings a smile to my face, not only for the kids involved and thinking about how much I enjoyed my party and going to friend's parties but the main reason is to me it just reminds me that summer has arrived!

I totally get fans frustrations which leads to booing but I never really agreed with booing of the home team or players unless it was due to complete lack of effort.

Wilmer Flores with a solid outing for Erie. Went 5 innings of 2 run baseball but had 8Ks and 1 walk. Only gave up 1 extra base hit which was a double so it appears that they may have just singled their way to the 2 runs. Also Dingler just hit his 5th HR of the year in the game as well.

That's just awesome!

On a positive note, it's crazy to look at a Tigers box score and see all 4 relievers used with ERAs at 2.50 or lower. Plus aside from them 4 we have Vest, Lange and Peralta with sub 2s and even Jimenez is at a respectable 3.10 with a sub 1 WHIP. That's 8 deep out of the bullpen! Yes some of these guys will surely regress but even if a few do that is still amazing to have that many guys having great seasons.

Congrats on the win but I just have to point out something I just realized. We have not hit a HR since Daz hit the go ahead homer in the 8th all the way back on June 2nd 10 games ago!

I could potentially see Chet dropping if he gets by OKC but I don't think he will though. With all the draft capital they have I think they can afford to swing for the fences for him and hope he turns into the unicorn prospect that some people think he can be. If for some reason they pass he could slide a few spots potentially cause I'm not sure how much Houston or Sacramento value him at. If he somehow makes it to us though I think Weaver would either take him or hopefully trade the pick for another team willing to give us a haul for him.

Agreed. Really the main disappointment with me thus far with Tork is the lack of power. He's hit some hard hit line drives but he just isn't driving the ball in the air at all, somebody posted the stat that his FB distance is only ahead of like 10 guys 5 of which are Tigers. For a guy with his raw power that is concerning but hopefully something that can be corrected.

Precisely, I joked the other day that Reyes will look like Willie Mays compared to some of the guys we've been throwing out there. Offensively and defensively.
-
Beau gave up some hard hit balls and didn't get many swings and misses but the bottom line is that he went out and gave the team nearly 6 innings of shut out baseball(or maybe 1 run depending on what Chafin does) so that needs to be commended.

Yeah I just don't get why we haven't brought in a new hitting coach. Sure there's a good chance that it wouldn't help but really how much could it hurt to atleast try? This is one of the worst offenses in the last 100 years and virtually everybody is performing WAY below their career norms or expectations and we're not gonna atleast try to bring in another set of eyes or voice to see if they could identify the problem?

Everything points to a Blue Jays massacre today which means the Tigers will probably BABIP there way to a bunch of runs and pull this one out.

The Whitecaps announcer tweeted something out yesterday that Keith is going on the IL with a shoulder injury.

While Casey leaves us for a couple years an old friend is making illustrious return to the big leagues tonight after a few year absence.

It sucks because it is the worst possible timing cause this basically insures that we get 2 complete lost seasons out of him in this year and next. If he got hurt and had the surgery last offseason we'd be seeing him in 2023 so only 1 season lost,if he pitched the first few months of this season before getting hurt we'd atleast have gotten those 3 months before losing him for the rest of 22 and 23 but nope we got nothing from him this year and will get nothing next year.

Daz starts playing well and on cue he gets injured. Par for the course this year.

Bondo's 70 years old throwing pitches to his Grandson when suddenly his Grandson is out infront of a pitch and Bondo realizes he developed a change up and makes his mlb comeback.

I forgot about Reynolds so yeah barring injuries it may be tough to fit in on the team even if does look good in camp and the preseason.
