  1. Good Lord those numbers look good, granted he has a LONG ways to go but it's easy to see the potential he has when he can post those type of spin numbers in his first pro start less than a year out of high school.
  2. I figure they will either be terrible and fit right in or they will actually be really good to the point where people will start to get invested in them a bit only for the league to inevitably fold. We'd get a small taste of what it would be like to have a good football team only for it to of course get taken away.
  3. After watching Tyrese Maxey performance last night it got me wondering, how long until he joins the Mitchell and Booker class of guys that we will regret and talk about not drafting? The worst part is that we passed on him not once, not twice but 3 times!
  4. Yeah there must be something about ole Buck that makes him more addicting to MLB teams than black tar heroin. I mean somehow he's working on a 10 year career as a reliever despite never really putting up a single really good season. He's got a career ERA north of 5 with the peripherals to match yet he still keeps getting work. It's mind boggling.
  5. They just said on the broadcast that it was due to "right shoulder discomfort". Lovely, I guess it's better than the dreaded forearm tightness.
  6. Please tell me Manning isn't hurt now too!
  7. Beck says that Willi was just removed from the Toledo lineup so it looks like the Castrai are getting back together.
  8. Usually those 1/8 and 2/7 matchups are major mismatches and go 5 games at most but these 2/7 matchups are kinda intriguing. I think both favorites will win but I think they will be far closer than you normally see in those seeds.
  9. Buxton is potentially a top 10 player in all of baseball when he is on the field, unfortunately for him and the Twins that doesn't happen nearly enough.
  10. I remember back in 2010 he IBB'd Cabrera 3 straight games in the 9th, and all 3 times 1B was occupied and he was the winning run which completely went against conventional wisdom. It of course worked out cause Boesch shit the bed all 3 times. I think that was the real genesis of the whole "we need to get Miggy some protection" movement which eventually led to us getting VMart that offseason.
  11. I actually forgot about Faedo, yeah it's a shame for him that his injury happened when it did cause IIRC he was starting to look alot better towards the end of 2019. If he didn't get hurt in the summer of 2020 I imagine he would've been called up in that COVID season for the Tigers.
  12. I mean to be fair on paper we did improve a lot up the middle. We went from the Castrai manning 2B and SS to Baez and Schoop. We also expected Greene and Hill to be manning CF instead of Baddoo and Reyes like last year.
  13. He did, I believe it was the very next game or next appearance after we thought we had something with Fulmer as a closer. He struck out the side while throwing triple digits, I remember Lynn singing his praises and all of us being overjoyed...then the next night or outing that happened with Santana.
  14. Jeimer got off to a brutal start in the COVID shortened year and last year he only had a .660 OPS in April before turning it on both years so I'm not worried yet. He appears to be a guy that takes longer to start seeing the ball.
  15. Seeing Tork launch a no doubter to LF brought back memories of prime Miggy when he used to do that regularly.
  16. LMAO! First they use their entire draft on pitchers, now they do this. Talk about having no faith in your staff!
  17. I just saw in the background that KC scoreboard posts the launch angle and exit velo on balls. I haven't been to a game in a few years, is that common place in parks now?
  18. Another would be out that the Tigers give up.
  19. Baez definitely makes that play!
